Loved this, a superlong episode on a supersized car museum. That Mr. Robert seems like a class guy, in his clothing, appearance and manners. And very amiable in talking to. Yep, lol, when Soul Train came on, cartoons were over! After that shocker, you realized girls were going to be dancing. This fixed everything and you went outside to hang with the posse. Really great tour guide.

The hippie van from Cars is Filmore (I think I spelled that right). I don’t recall who voiced him, Cheech voiced Ramone, the low rider who always had a new paint job as he owned a paint shop. I don’t think Chong ever made an appearance in the Cars franchise sadly. I know Cheech has done a lot of voice work for Disney over the years. Christine!! I love Christine! She is one of my fav movie cars and one of many I’d like to have myself some day (this includes ecto-1, knight rider, Herbie, and others). Though mine will be an actually fury, whereas the ones is the movie we’re mostly Belvedere’s and Savoys as all three looked very similar to each other.

I remember when this place was called Festival Bay Mall. It never really took off since it's in a kind of odd location (the far end of International Drive near Universal Orlando & basically across the street from a big, popular outlet mall) and most of the storefronts never got filled. I remember there was a Universal Studios store, a Ron Jon surf shop, a western wear store called Boot Barn, the Hot Topic you mentioned, a Vans indoor skate park... I remember the Fuddruckers that used to be there as well (ate there a couple times), a British pub & I think a sushi restaurant. The movie theatre & Bass Pro Shop are still there. Festival Bay opened in 2002 and in 2014 it was reimagined into Artegon, which was touted as an "anti-mall", which didn't take off and closed in 2017.

Yep. I always wondered too why they would put a mall in such a strange place. I liked it as festival bay but artegon was horrible. It was like a giant flea market. And if im not mistaken they had an overhead obstacle course and someone fell and died.

George Carlin DID do the voice of the van in the first movie. His name was "Fillmore," (of course). George had passed by the second movie, but his character was important to the plot, so he was played by an actor named Lloyd Sherr. Paul Newman had also passed by the second movie, but they decided not to recast and just mentioned that "Doc Hudson" had finally passed on.

one of the 3 Aston Martin's was stolen but found couple years ago and from memory was given to THIS museum, so if my memory serves me right, THAT is the car. if wrong, it's in another collection. Interesting this museum doesn't have the Lady Penelope car from the Thunderbirds film from 2004 (or any of the miniatures used) no Duel truck!? well, I guess the respective owners love them too much, which is fair.

Once again, your Black Beauty is not one of the original 2 cars created by the Dean Jeffries studios for the Green Hornet TV series. It is a modern replica made by Dick Dean years later. P.S. the brooms were never seen or used in the 1960's TV show.
