I'm so sorry there were so many grocery shoppers out that day.

Yeah, it looks like it was one of the beginner courses like hped 3-4. There is no overtaking without a point by and no passing in the corners. Looks like he was doing more of a warm-up testing tune session there as opposed to pushing the vehicle.

Excellent , was there absolutely no other Drivers on the road that day... Looked like you were working your way through a track full of commuters on thier way home from work LoL... Love that Goblin!

What a little track monster! Looks like you need to go up a couple of classes with that beast. That's the one thing that kind of stinks when you've got a car that handles great, the corners get stacked up. It was nice to see that thing get down on a few corners though.

The other drivers are just chilling on the circuit, this will be a ton more fun alone or with competitive opponents, those guys were driving like when going to do the shopping :(

Slowing down from 140MPH to 50MPH for the first turn after the straight-a-way!!!! Holy cow! That's one of the special things about these cars that is often overlooked. When everyone else is braking early, you can wait until the last second to lay into them. Do you ever have issues with fade?
@justinreedracing62133 жыл бұрын
There’s very minimal fade surprisingly, I’m running stock base model cobalt brakes
@LiveeviL69693 жыл бұрын
@@justinreedracing6213 I have yet to full test the brakes. My driveway is at the bottom of a long downhill off of a rural highway and when I come home I wait until the very last moment to brake just before turning in (as long as there is no one behind me). And I have yet be brave enough to find the limits. It almost seems like I can apply them at the mailbox and still make the turn. LOL!

So many comments... Those Corvette brakes were about to drive me mad!

Dayum nice breaks lol.. What kind of breaks does it use to handle 140 mph?

In this video the car was on stock cobalt brakes, but they fade fairly quickly after a few laps

I’m looking at building one. Can you tell me if you’ve addressed the oil starvation? Also how reliable has this motor been doing track days? I’m looking to build a track only car and I worry about this motor compared to a k20
@justinreedracing62133 жыл бұрын
The oil starvation is band aided using a accusump rn. Oil pressure will still drop occasionally in long left sweepers. To truly fix the starvation a dry sump is needed. Engine is perfect at track days, no issues that aren’t directly related to the limited starvation

You call that just "moderate" traffic? Man, I'd hate to see a "heavy" traffic day. Looked like a fun rip when you could actually start running your lines though. :)

Unfortunately so, some track days traffic is horrific.

any issues with oil starvation on-track? Thoughts on supercharged vs turbo?
@justinreedracing62135 ай бұрын
With slicks absolutely. You need at least a accusump to not blow an engine. I was running a accusump in this video. I’ve since moved to a dry sump setup

@@redlinesgarage yeah square setup, I solely went that route so I can rotate them. A staggered setup would probably be better but not on the wallet since the rear wears so fast
