I saw Leon in 1972, late summer. Chicago. I still have pictures of the concert. (back in the days when 20,000 people didn't hurt each other at a concert, and freedom meant "bring what you want without fear of being treated like a terrorist.... Pat downs; searches etc.

I used to travel all over the country to see Leon play. And once he cut his show short. Because his daughter who played the gourd. Was paying to much attention to by best friend..He began dating her. And he'd travel to the Farm in Tennessee to hang out. .and he'd tell me story's how he'd sit around and watch boxing matches on TV with Leon...I was so jealous..
