It should be mentioned that people sit for the parades although you can stand at the back, makes watching the parade very easy. In the theaters they ask you to take hats and ears off so everyone can see

Oh yes, it was amazingly orderly. I went many years ago when darling daughter was in a stroller. They even had us collapse down the stroller so people behind us could see.

Regarding Stitch’s Tiki Room: There’s actually a Stitch animé series where Stitch ends up leaving Hawaii after Lilo grows up, and ends up living with another girl in Japan. Well, one episode, they go visit Tokyo Disneyland. He crashes his ship near the tiki room. It just so happens to be the exact same one you see in real life that has also crashed landed at the real tiki room.

Hi AJ, just to let you know, I did watch your video about going to Tokyo Disneyland and I was kind of surprised how you told me that it’s quite common for people to be carrying around stuffed animals throughout the park in Tokyo Disneyland I was surprised on that one because I do that too. Sometimes when I go places the teddy bear that I like to carry with me for to help keep me comfort so just wanted to share that with you.

So for at least some of the shows - Big Band Beat, for example, you can still line up even without a lottery pass! We didn’t realize you could do that but were surprised people were lining up outside for so long so we asked - and yes, you could still line up and they let a certain amount of people. At big band best it’s a separate seating area than those with lottery tickets.

So I recently spent four nights at the Sheraton across the street from Fantasy Springs, and OMG, it was so magical! We stayed there because it owned by Marriott, and it’s nicer than Disney deluxe hotels in the states, but for the price of a value resort. I did not get the Bayside view, instead, I opened my window to discover freaking Neverland! Like, it was there! They light it up at night, and the volcanos smoke constantly. You can see the monorail go round, AND watch the fireworks and drone show from your hotel room! It’s also walking distance to the monorail station, but there is a shuttle service if needed. In fact, they have complimentary shuttles to the monorail station, the train station, and Disneyland every few minutes. …not 30-45 minutes with Disney claiming it’s 7. It it was so close, we walked to the monorail station most of the time. And because of the loop, the trains are practically empty when they come to pick you up. I got to sit at the very front, just like in this video. So magical!

As someone who has never been to any of the parks, (and is living my disney life vicariously through these video's) I never knew how absurdly expensive the US parks are...
@UmmYeahOk4 ай бұрын
What’s ridiculous is how much cheaper and overall better the Japan parks are in comparison. Oriental Land Company would make so much more money if they offered a little less, charged a little more, and even paid their cast members less. But they’re ok with simply making a profit and not an over excessive amount of profit because they have honor. Meanwhile, US parks have switched to generic ketchup, and even hiding it behind the counter, because those precious pennies add up.

You don’t get a score on Monsters because people towards the back of each group of cars don’t have as many opportunities to activate the characters. Also, there was no mention that there’s a similar mechanic on the 20,000 Leagues with the spotlights on that ride. Also, you may want to recheck the size of a basketball. 😁

Once you think that would be a lot of money like spending thousands of dollars for plane tickets and doing everything there and spending extra on going to Disney and you know Disney ain’t cheap
@suecoppola10814 ай бұрын
So, the yen exchange rate is 158 to the dollar, out park tickets with the conversion was 68 bucks, that covered any and all extras every day when compared to the USA. The deluxe hotel ran us w50 with the conversion and the room was fabulous.

@@suecoppola1081 the whole Yen thing confuses me, comparing it to American dollars
@UmmYeahOk4 ай бұрын
@@TVTIME-be8zeSo not only is the yen down right now, but since it’s Oriental Land Company, they don’t charge as much as Disney. They are ok with making a profit without offering less, charging more, or paying staff less. Right now, Tokyo is considered the fourth most affordable places in the world. If you can stay away from American companies, and American brands, everything there cheap. Of course, living there, pay is a little different. They don’t make a whole lot of money, but they have universal healthcare, and most don’t have car expenses, since they don’t need one. Because people don’t make much, things are priced accordingly. That said, they also don’t have tipping there. They pay their employees a living wage. Anyway, I just went there a few weeks ago. The danger is that because things are so much more affordable, you end up buying more. Also, it cost US$8000 to fly a family of three from Dallas to Tokyo. THAT is the major cost right there. This is the main reason it’s still a once in a lifetime trip for most people. I would absolutely love to go back. Two weeks in that country, and I did not want to leave. This is coming from someone who was worried about culture shock and homesickness.

@DFBGuide One piece of advice I would give is that movies have different titles between Japan and the US. If you want to ask about something from a specific movie, you may need to look up it's Japanese title because asking using the US title will just lead to confusion. For example, Up is called カールじいさんの空飛ぶ家 (Grandpa Carl's Flying House) or Big Hero 6 is Baymax. Before I knew this, I asked where they were selling the Tangled popcorn bucket and the cast member was not sure what I was asking about. When I mentioned Rapunzel, he figured out what I was asking because the movies title in Japan is Rapunzel.

29:00 hides the equipment away. You mean like how Epcot has that big honking thing in the middle of the lagoon, and it just looks ugly for 90% of the day until the actual fireworks start. Until then, it looks like a pile of crumped i beams.
