Now those are some properly Disney themed rooms. They put the stateside rooms to shame. The Tokyo Disney Parks are definitely on my bucket list. Gorgeous parks, better customer service and food and excellent merchandise.

The coolest part is that we will be there visiting our son and daughter-in-law who have been living there working as missionaries for 2 years now! 25 days and counting until we fly out!! So excited to see them and experience Tokyo Disney with them while we are there (we are all huge Disney fans - they had season tickets when they lived in Orlando a few years back!).

Very awesome parks- I love it there. INCREDIBLE attention to detail. However, the parks are MUCH busier than any of the American parks, and all the time (they are right next to a metropolis with 20 million people, almost all of whom love Disney). Like you will regularly wait hours per day even if you plan it right. Though this was before they came up with being able to buy a spot in line- this was the "paper fastpass" era. The Tink room is awesome indeed- I love how it even has the old-school "Book Fairies", before the movies!

Hello, Disney fam! New sub to the channel 🎢✨ Flashback to the '80s, shortly after Tokyo Disneyland opened, I experienced its magic while in the Navy. Now, decades later, it's time for another magical journey, but with my family. 🌟 This June 16th-18th, from the Philippines to San Diego, we're thrilled to revisit Tokyo Disneyland and share our adventure on our KZbin channel, EJay’s Adventures. 📸🎥 It's been a while, and with a 3-year-old, we're seeking advice from this community. Tips on cozy places near Haneda Airport, family-friendly attractions, and must-dos in Tokyo Disneyland would be amazing. 🏨🎡 Every recommendation helps us create a memorable trip for our little one and a nostalgic journey for us. Share your top picks and hidden gems! 💖

My sisters and I went to Tokyo Disneyland in January 1986. We were on an Aussie group tour of Japan and it was a free day so quite a few of us went there. My sisters and I are Australian of Chinese heritage. Every time we queued for a ride we had to put one of our non Asian travelling companions at the front because the staff at the rides assumed we were Japanese and speak to us in Japanese. It was easier than explaining we are not Japanese. I’m sure it has changed a lot since then. We’ve been to Disneyland in Anaheim and Hong Kong too.

Despite loving this resort, I do need to add two important things. (1) There’s no traditional Main Street Bakery, which is jarring, even though the dessert shop between World Bazaar and Tomorrowland has some good pastries. (2) If you aren’t familiar with American parks, you will be lost. Signage is in English, but the Cast speaks very little English. Most online guides make it seem like everyone is bilingual and everything is in English. That’s not true.

i couldn't disagree more, that 15 min early entry 'Happy Time' is GIANT if you want to ride the major e-ticket attraction (currently soaring at Dis-sea and beauty and the beast Dis-land). Been going to these parks yearly since 2004

I was lucky enough to go to both Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea In July 2023. They are BOTH freaking A-MA-ZING! Next level parks! The parks were so detailed and perfectly themed. I recommend the night shows at both parks over the day shows. So pretty to see at night. Beauty and the Beast ride was so beautiful. It was SUPER HOT so yes, bring a refillable water bottle and or hat/umbrella for shade.

After watching this, i no longer have to endure the "a trip to Tokyo Disney is cheaper than going to Disneyworld". It clearly is not. I don't doubt that the parks are more magical and better kept, but it's still a premium.

Thanks to work trips which frequently take me to Tokyo, I’m blessed to be able to visit regularly. I know this is impossible for most people because of the long flight and vacation time (the price is actually affordable), but Tokyo is so superior that I don’t bother with the American Disney parks anymore. It makes me sad to type that. I have fantastic memories from how Disneyland and WDW used to be. Now only the Tokyo parks feel like proper Disney.

I haven't been to a Disney park in 12 years, the only reason I went then was because it was free and I was able to eat lunch at Club 33 in Anaheim. I thought that I might want to visit Tokyo Disneyland when I go to Japan in a couple of years but after watching this video I have changed my mind. Seems like most of your time in the park is spent waiting in line and trying to make reservations for absolutely everything you want to do from rides, eating, watching shows, etc. Just doesn't sound like a good time to me.
@dandiehm8414
@dandiehm8414 11 ай бұрын
100% agree, Mike. Nothing is worth waiting in a line like that for. And I don't want to have to make reservations for everything and be stuck in crowds all day. Not my idea of fun.

She went on a weekend or holiday. If you go on a weekday the wait times will be way shorter especially in Jan after new years - February where the longest wait time is 30min. And that's only for Beauty and the beast ride. All other rides will be 5-15min

I would be afraid the language would be a major hurdle, but it does seem they have English along with Japanese directions. I agree, the app would be most beneficial for the trip. Seems like it would be a worthwhile trip but expensive. Any chance of doing a EuroDisney video soon? Yes, I will die on that hill because I was there when it opened in France. Great video! So helpful as to what people can expect at Tokyo Disney! Would it be possible to make a video about the types of hotel rooms and the size of beds in Japan near Tokyo Disney. Those beds do not look like queen beds and an American family of four cannot all fit on 2 full beds, which is what those beds look like. Do resorts there have rooms with queen size beds for 4 people (two teen/adult people in each bed)? Thx! That would be super helpful as I understand hotel rooms in Japan are very different than what we are used to in the states.
@MariE-575
@MariE-575 11 ай бұрын
Not sure if you’re open to official but not Disney owned hotels like the Sheraton and Hilton. I’ve stayed at both and they have rooms with 3 US sized full beds, 4 single beds, etc. The Disney owned hotels tend to have a trundle bed under one of the beds if that helps.
