We were at Port Orleans Riverside last weekend and tried both the sit down and quick service restaurants. Both were fantastic! But then again, I love jambalaya and got it at both locations haha

port orleans riverside food is so good! i haven’t been to the table service in a while but my family loves the food court so much that even when we aren’t staying there we head there for a meal!

I was at Storm-a-long bay 7/1 and got the kids hot dog meals. Although they were great for the kiddos , they did not have a sand bucket included- just a heads up.

I haven't been there in a few years, but Contempo Cafe used to have some sandwiches that were really good. When I was spending a day at Magic Kingdom, I would leave to go eat there over anything in the park.

The candy counter at BVG is one of my secret reasons for begging my family to stay there again. You can grab a box of pastry for your carry along and come home with exotic, Mickey shaped apples for your dog sitters and breakfast to make the vacation linger!

Some of these restaurants are good for convenience and value. While staying at Caribbean Beach, my son and I took the Skyliner on our departure day to check out Pop Century: since we were checking out we didn’t want to go too far. We ordered a large pizza slice that came with a salad and we had our refillable drink cups: it was enough for us to share for $10.99. Also, I heard a trick was to order the kids meal to go at Pizza Trattoria (not pizza window) and it is better pizza and it comes with 2 sides for really a good value.

I went into Beach Club Market place one night maybe 5 minutes before they closed wanting to grab a bag of Mickey chocolate covered pretzels, I didn't see any out and a cast member overheard my disappointment and went into the back and found the very last bag in stock... I told her she was my hero

The Mara at AKL is the most amazing quick-eat place. They will also give you recipes, if you ask, which my mom did because she loved their chowder so much.

The Sassagoula doesn't have the Mickey beignets anymore? That's a shame. We stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter in 2019 and loved being able to get them at the Sassagoula walk-up early every morning before catching the bus to whatever rope-drop we had planned that day. Did they give a reason for removing them from the menu?

AJ, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Flaming Tree BBQ at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! However, can you warn everyone about the birds? My daughter has a bird phobia that can be quite embarrassing at times and every time we eat there I end up apologizing to at least one group of people for my daughter’s screams of hysteria. 😂

My family and I went to Disney a few years ago. Unbeknownst to us my little cousin was terrified of Dinosaurs. You can imagine the nightmare we had when we had when she woke up from her nap in her stroller and saw the giant statue in front of Dinosaur, which my uncle went on. Everyone was looking at us as we awkwardly raced out of DinoLand😂😂😂

First of all I love your videos! And I’ve been to a bunch of these quick service and snack stops. I love your reviews and advice. I think it would be really helpful to anyone who hasn’t been there to give a rating description so they can understand what to expect. Lots of 5, 6, etc. so what makes those ratings consistent across locations. Just a thought. I’m really craving something now. Yum. 😋

As long as you start at a park, or Disney Springs, you are still able to take Disney transportation to any resort you like to explore. At current time, you are not able to park at a resort without a room or dining reservation.

Ok a ranking is a list of your best restaurants 1 through whatever it goes up too. Rating is what your doing 1-10 if it’s good or not. So yeah.

Great video so far. I’m going to be heading to my first Walt Disney world trip and am staying at the Wyndham garden just by Disney Springs. I have a half day to explore. I’m also not driving but would commute to where ever I go via Lyft or whatever. I wanted to go to trader sams, do you need to be staying at any of these resorts to actually go to these places? With the exception of poolside obviously

you don't have to be staying at Poly to go to Trader Sam's Grog Grotto. it opens at 3pm. A castmember will be in the hall outside and will put your name on the wait list & give you an estimated wait. we checked in about 6 on a Sunday and were given an almost 3 hour wait. we used that time to go to the other 2 monorail resorts and ended our crawl at Grog Grotto

Here we go again. AJ, I love your videos and implore you to read this comment. Once more, this video is not a RANKING video, but a RATING. Ranking and rating are different things! A scale of 1-10 is a RATING. Ranking would mean you decide which Disney World restaurant is best and which one is worst, and then all the others in filling in the order. It would crown a winner - the *BEST* cheap eats restaurant in the resort. A rating is a 1-10 scale, as in this video, and is independent of the other ratings.

Right. I've given up watching AJ's "rankings" until she figures out the difference between "ratings" and "rankings". Words matter in communication. Good journalism demands it these days. You "rate" on a scale using one or more metrics. You "rank" by an order of preference. Things can have similar ratings, but they cannot have the same ranking (this is a purist definition).

You guys clearly have not been to AK Mara lately. This food court is horrible. The selections were half of what you described and the quality for not good. Additionally, every single time we went in this past week for a quick bite there was one register and a line that took 20 plus minutes to check out. Mobile order was not much better. When dropping over $1000.00 per night they can do a lot better I feel.
