I Ate at the Worst Rated Restaurants at Disney World- Hollywood Studios

I was prepared to dislike my meal at Sci-Fi Dine in, but after a long day in the sun and heat, it actually hit the spot to sit in the quiet, dark atmosphere to eat wings and onion rings. The milkshakes are closer to a frosty but I definitely enjoyed it.

What I've learned from watching food reviews from you, Nate, Tim, Molly, etc. Don't go by any of these reviews, lol. Get what you think you might like and form your own opinions, lol. Worst place for my family of 5 at HS would be Woodys bbq. Only thing we liked was the bread. Never again.

10:46 In honor of David, I had to throw my hat in the ring for a chance to finally win that elusive BB8 cup! Nothing says Disney magic like being told you ordered a cup wrong lol. I've been lucky with great meals at the bigger spots (shout out to Round Up Rodeo & 50’s Prime Time Cafe), but if I had to pick something on the not so good side… ‘Oga’s Obsession’ at Oga’s Cantina-if you know, you know!

we went to Hollywood & Vine for breakfast buffet, we knew mixed reviews, but the characters fit our daughter's age... it was a great experience, food was better than expected, our son has a special diet, and the chef comes out to confirm safe menu options, and makes it separately, then even pureed everything for part of his oral issues, Bravo Disney!

I just got back from a week at Disney and I am so grateful for your videos!! I used mouse watchers to get a reservation at Narcoossee’s and hit brunch at the boathouse - both recommended by your videos! Thanks for being such an awesome creator! I think you should do a video on Enzo’s Hideaway because we were super disappointed by the ultra greasy calamari, (especially compared to how amazing they were at Narcooses), and that they give you no bread service. Love your videos!!!

Hollywood Studios food is horrible! I just go for the carrot cake woopie pie at Trolley Car. YES! I'd love the BB8! I follow you everywhere!

My vote for least favorite is Prime Time Diner. The food isn't bad, just very average and the theming is nice but it's easy to sit in a bad location. Mama Melrose is a close second 🥈 for worst. Sci Fi and Rodeo Round Up are really great. Hollywood & Vine is great for the interactions and the food is good.

We must have been very lucky and hit ABC Commissary on a good day. We both had the shrimp tacos and they were fantastic. Actually we haven't had a bad meal at Hollywood Studios but then we haven't eaten at Rosie's or Fairfax. You did sell us on that meatball sub.

I have been to Mama Melrose (I admit, not in a while though) and have gotten some pretty good food! The interesting thing I have found when talking to fellow WDW visitors is how few of them complain when the food sucks! At a lousy Cosmic Ray's lunch (and a barely responsive manager-again, a while ago) our hamburgers were cold, the Coke was flat, and a lovely young woman wiping the tables offered to get us fresh food! We found a restaurant manager at a different restaurant and gave him her name. She is someone who should rise in the company! She took it upon herself to make our meal good when the manager did not. She was polite, helpful, did exactly what she promised to do...and we didn't even ask her to do it! People; COMPLAIN to the manager when there is something wrong with the food. When it doesn't match the picture by a long shot don't even walk to your table, ask for a manger immediately. If the manager is as bad as the Cosmic Ray's manager? Go HIGHER and complain some more! It has benefited us on numerous occasions!

The only redemptive restaurant in Hollywood is ronto roasters! We always take the skyliner to Riveria and eat at Prima Piatta instead of resort to any of the theme park restaurants. 🤢

My vote for worst HS restaurant is Backlot Express. It was the most disappointing meal of our trip last year. Dry hockey puck burger, sad veggie toppings, limp fries. Even the Wookie Cookie (the reason for us going there) was flavorless and hard. A Little Debbie oatmeal cream pie would have been preferable. 😂

I have had the shrimp tacos twice. They were always perfect. The tortillas were warm, the shrimp ware not seasoned, because the veggies have some sauce. I guess I am just lucky.

I remember when Sci-Fi had a good menu, and you weren’t stuck ordering a burger & fries. In fact, I remember a time when Disney had decent food at most restaurants- even counter service. NEVER order Spaghetti & Meatballs or Chicken Parm at an Italian restaurant unless it has rave reviews. Those are lazy dishes and almost always guaranteed to taste like pig slop. A safer bet is a roasted or grilled meat with potatoes.

Great video @wrightdownmainstreet, my vote for the worst restaurant at Walt Disney World goes to the Plaza. Every time we go there the burgers were terrible. The meat was dry and had no flavor. We thought it was a fluke so we tried it a second time and again it was gross. My second pick goes to Mama Melrose at Hollywood Studios. The the chicken parm was so thick and dry. They could easily butterfly the Chicken and give it some good seasoning. I should have taken your advice when you did the review last year. - Randy
