I used maxed Rem, no BT ace, and Cater, using cater allowed me to charge The Gauge and break them to push the turns back. I used Cid Call on Rem to keep the team in front of the enemies, switched Cater to Aeris to use FR’s and add a bit of a safety net with the seal evil. (It didn’t last long,) I wiped them out without even going into BT mode.

Thank you. I did it with only UW3/5 for Eight and UW5/5 for Cyan Call. I had to use Rem Burst Phase for FR charge so I could use her FR before Ace's turn.

Yeah I admittedly didn't really consider Rem BT Mode haha. That would've made the run much more smooth

@@Xcaliblur1 I used the burst phase because my Rem didn't do as much damage as yours and I had problems with Lunafreya's call on my first tries, I've lost a turn (maybe because of the enemies at 89% HP)

Thanks for this video, gave me the team I needed to do it 🎉 I started watching then half way just went on my own and was able to do it somewhat easy, also funny enough, I ended up using ace fr instead 😂 Was able to do it without blue U2, eight had no FE, and with 0/5 throw uw and 0/5 dagger uw. I do have a few of the passives from green crystal, no idea how much they compensate for what I didn't have. I'm so happy I decided to token Rem BT, she's already being so useful!

That sounds like a very fun cheesy run. Eight continues to be the unsung hero of the Type-0 cast. I recall this other fight you had with him that was an infinite loop. I'm assuming you don't actually need Ace's BT for that work? I do have his FR but not his BT. Edit: Nevermind, I watched the whole thing. Haha. My bad!

I used the same team but friend Quina. Rem and Quina BT pretty much ignores this boss mechanics and they melt down very fast.

How is your Eight even countering the first attack. No matter how many times I reset, mine is affected with the HP atk lock and just stands there. I have his full weapons, first stage of HA armor and his LD board. He starts with Defense but I can’t repeat this because he keeps getting hit with HP lock.

That's because your Eight doesn't have EX at 3/3

Bro, this was an Amazing run and I ran it to perfection just the same. I actually finished the fight off when I used the Cyan LD call vs the extra stuff you went through but none the less, it worked insanely perfectly. Thanks so much bro.

I just did Queen Machina and Rem and suffered through the debuffs and whatnot. But it still ended up being an easy straightforward run because even though it is Shinryu these bosses have like no hp.

Machinas echoes hasn't even been released yet. I also don't have Ace FR in this run.. And it's possible to do it without Rem BT. It just will take a few turns extra but there's a lot of room.

Yuna call works but it doesn't have the heal. You should still be able to comfortably tank the mana breath attack though

@@Xcaliblur1 Verse Shot+ seems to be a counter. As soon as I use Explosive Fist they kill Eight. I can't seem to prevent them doing so.

@@vulpinedeity3379 yes it's a counter but the counter is not guaranteed hit. If your Eight is dying to it, it means your Eight is missing one of the weapon passives that provides evasion Edit: it's from his EX. Do you have his EX at 3/3?

Might still work because only Eight is Blue crystal here. As long as you can bring the bosses to 89% health before using Lunafreya call on Rem then all is well.

If you use burst mode with Rem you'll end her turn. Which means you will need to wait for Ace and Eight to go again before Rem finally gets another turn to go FR Edit: hmmm not sure if it would work but now that I think about it I could use FR inside BT mode and target herself. Damn. Lol

​@@Xcaliblur1 it's exactly what i did, worked great, reliably gets them down below 89% too. Strategy worked the same way, I saved my summon at 999% though for the big boom finish

Dropping a like, I will definitely try this later. I am curious: I have checked the comments and found that you do not need Rem’s BT (thankfully), but I have seen nothing about how much force enhancement is required. I am pretty low on enhancement points, and I am choosing to save it for favorite units. That being said, is force enhancement required to reach the FR gauge in time?

Yes it is. You need everyone at least at force level 23.

Sorry but you can't call this a cheese when it has u2 for multiple colours, at least 2 maxed uws for very rarely used weapon types and all in all takes a lot of careful planning and skill usage. It's just a regular clear that's dealing with mechanics the way you're supposed to with the characters you're supposed to use. A cheese start would be what people are doing with an Astos friend because it doesn't matter what you have and still skips all the problems.
