Really late comment but I’m a machinist and one of the tricks I learned for removing blind bearings is getting some wonder bread and a shaft that’s really close to the size of the inside hole and just put some bread in the hole and pack it down and eventually the bread will force the bearing out. Great videos man

I tried to do this with a wet paper towel and it didn’t work. I’m gonna use wonder bread next time. Thanks for the tip!

if its a sealed type bearing, heavy grease like hub grease or even Vaseline works really well too. Ill keep the wonderbread tip in mind for open type. Thanks!

Get a real cheep slide hammer and weld it to the inner race of the barring and you can pull them out real easy that way

Hey I was wondering with which cleaning stuff you clean all the insides with, i have some rust inside my cylinder and gunk in my A35 block so was wondering what to use to clean that all out.

Hey Jorn. I use the ZEP Purple cleaner. I mix it about 50/50 with water and spray it on and let it sit for awhile. Afterwards, all the gunk usually sprays right off. For the really stubborn stuff, I use brake cleaner, but that’ll take off paint too, so only use it on parts you are going to repaint or bare metal. I’ve tried the foaming engine cleaner stuff before and it doesn’t work at all. Lastly, a wire brush does wonders. Preferably one on a drill or a Dremel. Good luck with your A35!
