4YFN 2023: Blockchain Singularity for the Open Internet - Dominic Williams

This 4YFN 2023 session features renowned scientist Dominic Williams from DFINITY Foundation to discuss the implications and opportunities of the Internet Computer, a World Computer blockchain that can host a social network, or large and scalable enterprise systems removing the need for centralized IT and setting the ground for a truly decentralized internet.
We'll deep dive into the opportunities that it brings in business terms as well as the social implications and advantages that the protocol has to tackle privacy and ethical issues compared not only with Web2 but with other decentralized protocols.

Big fan of ICP ,please explain to the community how ckbtc will increase the price of ICP in which faze transferring ckbtc the user pay fee in icp...just want to explain for myself ....because if transferring ckbtc the fee is ckbtc how this will affect the price of icp...the price is not important for the technologic but important for the adoption. as the other comment has said, cycles cost icp to run. Also you take into account the fees to use icp will drastically make the supply shorter. Everything, including tokens will need icp to transfer value and also hold storage.
