Well that's what happens when all people do is complain about units not being strong enough. It's also why I'm tired of it people act like they can't get through it when they can. It's sickening the disrespect and hate the community has. I miss the old days when shit was hard. It's to easy now. Shot everyone's complaining about the int black eza meanwhile I got through trunks red zone with him. The new one! It was harder but that was the point. People need to chill It's bad now. @@bigchungusonline4773 they’re definitely not what I would call essential. Essential means you absolutely HAVE to use items to beat the stage, as in there is no other option but to use them. Nowadays, as long as you have access to the best units in the game, you can no item every piece of content the game has to offer. So, no, items are not essential anymore, but rather just very helpful.

Aaah, old dokkan. I was there. the not-guaranteed SSRs, Str SSJ Bardock being one of the best leaders and all those SRs and free units being useful.

Old Dokkan was nutty, no categories, no guaranteed SSRs for multis and having zero ki for your units. And don’t forget super vegtio where you NEEDED Turs to even have a chance at beating him

Oh I remember those times. No guaranteed SSR(why people use to spam single summons), barely being able to perform a super, relying on Dokkan attacks to win harder events. Yeah I remember how hard it was to Dokkan awaken PHY Broly back then. Also Teq SR Guldo and Teq Yamcha would lower Broly’s def to nil with their super.

the 1st year of dokkan was brutal, I got into the game in 2016 in WDC and many things were fixed, potential system and at least having better leaderskills, Gogeta was a god and Teen Gohan was the goat.

Het DFree! Can you look at the nuking meta? I believe that came right after the Broly event with TEQ Cell. If you want to jump ahead, you could also do the Mono AGL Super Vegtio team VS TEQ events. Those were the videos that got me into your channel in the first place! Keep up the great content!

I'm still steadfast in the idea of "Old Vs New" Taking old Mono Type teams that were OP back in the day Vegito Buuhan Omega Etc. And using them in newer events since basically every unit those teams used, has had awakenings or even EZAs.

When I first played against the broly Dokkan event for the first time, I was on a field trip at Seaworld in my middle school after school program during the summer. We had just finished visiting the penguins and taking a lunch break, and I was just struggling to survive. I never beat it until after I got better units, which was like a couple months to maybe a year later. I don’t remember

Honestly wish they had bosses that weren't immune to lower attack and defense, and had more structured SA patterns, would be way more challenging and fun to build teams around these mechanics, instead of "oh boss supers in slot 1 and you're dead."

This game is worlds easier now than it was before. I started playing when the game first came out I legit couldn’t beat any of the events me and my friends resulted to using hacks to beat the cell and SSJ 3 goku events. Fast forward to now I just started playing again and I have multiple LR’s and walk thru events effortlessly.🤣

No, link level 1 is the same as how it used to be. The extra levels is what makes them different. The only difference between link level 1 now and links before is that links could activate multiple times, whereas now they can only be activated once
