Hello I am "only" the videomaker, not the pilot of this model. The pilot of this model dont fly full size gliders, but flys all types of RC planes since he can walk.. :o) The video is slightly edited, and it was a short flight anyway, because some error messages occurs and he decide to land safely before any problem appears. You are right, in the air it looks like a full size glider. Thanks for your comment. see my other videos.

@DieKoffer JA, Modell ist ein relativer Ausdruck. :). Da es jedoch ein Scale Modell ist, ist es kein ganz richtiger. Der Motor ist nicht so klein. Es wurde nicht angeschoben, sondern nur das Höhenleitwerk runtergehalten am ersten Flug, da nicht bekannt war ob er auf der Nase fahren will oder nicht. Heute geht's ganz alleine.

Magnificent model and excellent pilot skills! Do you fly full size as well? Was the flight video edited if so, how long did the flight last? Once rolling for take off, you'd never know it was a model.

Ich hab eine 4m DG-1000... die find ich schon wunderschön... Aber diese ... WOW ! Der Transport ist sicher auch nicht leicht... Und auf den Preis will man nicht mal sehn ;D Aber ich wette es war das "Modell" wert !

perhaps, flying real is cheaper :) depend the number hours/ flights per season. Building scale models is fun (if you like building), flying RC model is another dimension: staying on ground with a remote control is also exiting.

Hi Robo Tekno Thanks for the compliments. About prop: check out on on the website from Florian Schambeck., very well explained. The alignment is fully automatic with integrated sensors. The installation need some technical skills, but if you now how to build a glider lake that, it should work. :)

That's a fantastic model and good flying. But what I don't understand is, as a glider pilot, you don't fly for real - it's probably even cheaper than your hobby?

Mon fils oui. Il fait du modélisme comme moi, et en plus il vol des vrais planeurs. La video sur ma chaine ou je montre un remorquage au "winch", c'est "junior" comme sur la plupart de mes vidéos avec les modèles. C'est en travers du modélisme qu'il a pris "coût" du vrai. :-)
