Somehow they dropped the ball on the lows. Cushion not as good, stiff, and even after going down half a size there was heel slippage. The highs are heavier but overall better. I'm glad you did a review. A lot of other you tubers said they wouldn't do a review because it's the same shoe and it really isn't

Other than the heel slippage, I think the changes make sense for a low. People who like lows prefer more response. Firmer cushion + higher spring back means more energy return for a faster setup. And generally, people who prefer highs want more support and cushion.

Heal slippage issue is really simple to fix. First you have to put the laces through the strap on tongue and then through last eyelets. No heal slippage at all if you follow those steps.

I agree with you about the cushion on these, also the insoles are paper thin. I threw in some move insoles and they feel way better. I gotta choke the laces to get rid of the heel slippage

I agree with your assessment with the cushioning, I am on the heavy side and I got to compare them side by side and my heel on the mids compresses a little more than the lows. Slight heel slippage on the lows too.The other thing I notice is the outsole is slightly thinner and flatter on the lows and they don’t squeak compared to the mids. I went true to size and was happy with a little wiggle room for my toes on both shoes.

Personally I have both. The AE 1 causes me pain on the top of my foot because of the laces or the stitching, I don't know why. The pain was unbearable I sold them. Unlike the low 0 problem with on the contrary I felt more comfortable. And what is strange is that I also had this impression that the sizes are not the same between high and low. I think that the morphology of the foot plays a huge role unfortunately.. But it must be admitted that the high ones are really hot in design But I think that the high one is more suitable for thin feet. And the low one is more suitable for wide feet.

In my opinion, the pros are the traction , containment. The cons are the heel slippage, just go hard size down

I think the heel slippage is due to the material used. The satin type material is just slippery. The additional padding in the heel feels like it works well to for me.

The lacing start on low is the only part better than mid. That's it. More space above bridge of toes option to pull laces tight to prevent heel slippage. Cushioning flat hard... put your own Cushioning shoe feels more plush. Prefer mid

half a size down in the lows were crushing my toe but tts was fine. I think the toe cap material can make or break if your toes get crushed. i do believe i had less heel slip half a size down compared to my tts.

There is a heel slip because the midsole section is to stiff for it to bend and that causes the heel to slip i guess

I think the heel slippage has to do with the material choice for the sock liner than the actually fit. I went a half size down and it’s very snug in the toe box but there is still slight slipping in the heel (not egregious at all imo but also not absent). Sock liner is a little satin-y

The sizing is so inconsistent. Had to go up half a size for the mids and they are still snug. I dont know what size i have to go for the lows. If the sizing is the same, i think true to size is too small. But on the other hand i am not sure about the heel slippage…
