Beautiful property but I don't see $8.2 million without a house. No barn, no house, only 1 cabin, no fencing, no storage buildings. My guess it falls to $3-4 million.

kalmykdude, you might be right if this was Texas. But property on the Animas River with great access and total privacy is extremely rare. In this area, this is a one-of-a-kind situation that cannot be valued by simply counting up the acres.

Unfortunately, I think the owner took it off the market after the EPA triggered a mine spill, which polluted the Animas River and turned it bright orange. I was actually looking at this listing just before the spill. Not sure if the river is still orange. :-(
