Sky Walking was Miyeon’s solo stage during the World Tour. She took everyone by surprise at the first concert in Seoul with this beautiful new song. Minnie’s solo album is going to be released on Jan 21. Blind Eyes Red is a pre release. I just love this style of song for Minnie, which also brings in something new from her.

Whenever I see Miyeon killing it as a solo artist or in Idle, I can't help but think about the fact that she was the last girl eliminated from Pink Punk/Blackpink, and wonder...WHY? I mean, it worked out for all concerned, but how do you eliminate her from anything? ;) I'm an old man, and as I got older, my preferences in women aged along with me. However, two Idols - Minnie and Hwasa - make me do the "Oooh, if I were younger." thing. ;) Their looks, performance, and vocals can present an earthy quality that most women can't. The solo's from these women from veteran groups (Idle and Blackpink) are absolutely killing it. It shows why those groups are so successful - the individual members are each so talented, that, when you put them together.... I'm enjoying this period with so much content from so many of my favorites.

at first i have almost eyes only for Soyeon and Yuqi in (G)Idle both are my bias .but since HYMILEEYECHAPA i'am in love with Miyeon personality . she's in her MV's like she is in real life . funny , goofy and pretty . i love this song . for Minnie it's also a great song for her and i love this MV .

I really can't get behind the auto tune and highly processed vocals on Minnie's song... which makes me kinda sad, cause the song sounds amazing! The voice effects all over the track, though, is a choice that I find a bit unnecessary, since she already has such an angelic voice. I could excuse it in the chorus, but not all over the song. I really hope the album includes a "stripped" version.. if not, then I'll wait for a real live performance during concert. I bet it'll sound much better live!
