Jessi is an absolute goddess. I don't know if anyone wrote about it in the Cold Blooded video, but she's in her early 30s, debuted when she was a teenager as a singer actually. She bounced back and forth from Korea and USA until she made her most prolific break on a show called "Unpretty Rapstar," a rap competition show where she was instantly liked and disliked for her very straightforward, honest attitude. She didn't win and even admitted on the show she isn't the best rapper, but look at where she is now lmao. If you watch her video 'Nunu Nana,' there's guest feature at the end of the video of an older kpop idol named Lee Hyori, who in her day was known as 'a bad girl' since she had a very idgaf attitude too.

This was so awesome to watch after waking up! Your reaction was everything I'd hoped it would be haha - Jessi really is a beast, and really stands out. PSY (the leader of P Nation, her label, an artist himself, most famous for the song "Gangnam Style" - at least where I'm from) is great about giving his artists room to be themselves. If you want individuality, I'd suggest "DAWNDIDIDAWN" by DAWN and ft. Jessi, or "I'm Not Cool" by HyunA. PSY signed DAWN and HyunA after they were dropped from their former label for dating each other (at least that's how I understood it, I'm still new-ish to KPop myself). Anyhow great reaction, can't wait to see what's next!

Jessi is great! She walks her own path, she wont change to fit into a norm. She has this badass personality in her videos but if you see her in interviews she is super cool and super down to earth. She is person that you would want totally want to hang out with and it would never be borring! Definitely do more Jessi songs. Couple songs for you: "Gucci" (Really good song, one of my favorites) "Wet" (It's a collab with an amazing korean Rapper name Flowsik.) "Drip" (It's another collab with Vocalist/rapper named J-Park. He is awesome as well.)

I liked your comments on the song. I honestly don't know any woman who truly (deep inside) fits in the "definition of a woman". We all are different types of XX ;) In the world of Kpop where most of women "has to" fit in an unhealthy mold, there is Jessi at one end and Amber Liu at the other, with a bench of nuances in between. Since you've reacted to a few Korean queens already, might I recommend trying Korean (and worldwide too) kings BTS? I know many would recommend their English singles like Butter or Dynamite, but their strength also lies in lyricism, which is available through their Korean songs. I would suggest trying On, Black Swan or Fake Love. All three have MVs and all semi-recent :D Also, you could try TWICE (literally, Korean nationally loved girl group). I would suggest songs like 'I Can't Stop Me' or 'Perfect World' (this one is Japanese song, but it's fucking awesome!).
