Just got mine a couple weeks ago, and I love everything about it. I got all the extra lenses. This thing is so light, and the quick release buckle is so convenient, especially with thick riding gloves on. Ventilation is really good - no fogging yet. And I can hear much better than my brother can in his helmet. His also fogs up often. And the carbon fiber is sick. All things combined, I think it's the best helmet if you don't want the weight of a motorcycle helmet.

Do you think the new non carbon one in matte blue is just as good almost as this carbon one? are these better than Pass Pro for sure? the ratings scare me since they are not downhill mt bike approved. would u def go with carbon again for the look and weight or mostly the weight. Cant believe the third visor is 80$. Lastly, the new buckle strap system, is that as safe as the old d rings? could it pop off?

I chose the carbon one simply due to it being slightly lighter, and I do like the matte carbon look. "are these better than Pass Pro for sure?" My personal reasons for going with the Predator helmets vs the Pass Pro are these: -comes with all pads for all sizes -better ventilation -better lenses -better hearing -looks better in some ways, some ways, I actually like the way pass pro looks (entirely subjective) In terms of protection, I'm not the guy to ask, and honestly do not know which will do a better job. The carbon at the very least comes with "CE EN1078 certified and meets the CE EN966 impact standard." "the ratings scare me since they are not downhill mt bike approved." I'm 100% with you on this. In terms of protection, if you want the best crash protection, I would go with a DOT/CE rated motorcycle helmet. The reason I went with this, personally, is because: - I'm not riding on streets near cars too often - Though I may reach up to speeds of 30-45 mph, they are for quick short bursts, and hardly ever around cars. - I'm a sucker for good looks (not the wisest metric to choose something that is supposed to protect your skull) "would u def go with carbon again for the look and weight or mostly the weight." I can't say whether, or not they'll pop off, as I've never crashed with this helmet on, but it's never inadvertently just come off while riding. I got it for the sheer convenience. I have the same kind of magnetic buckle system on my Smith ski helmet, and after experiencing those, I couldn't bare the thought of having to use the traditional D-ring system again. For what it's worth, I've taken some heavy falls on the mountain with that Smith helmet on, and it's never once come off, so there's that - and I'm a pretty aggressive skier. But don't blame me if it does on you 😂

Matt charged me $69 for 2 day air shipping. He shipped the helmet via economy and kept the money. He also shipped the helmet without the mirrored visor even though it shows the mirrored one installed on the website and says it includes the black and clear. Other videos show it should come with all 3.

Why do some helmets have the logo and some say predator down the side which I'd prefer??? Is there an option???

Hi there. The helmets that say Predator down the sides are the older models from a year ago. I know because I ordered mine around that time. (You can see my videos on my channel with that helmet.) The new Predator helmets have that shark fin logo. There is not really any difference. But I highly recommend this helmet though. You can still order the older Predator helmets online, but THE BLUE AND WHITE ONE is no longer available, which sucks because that is the one I have. You can get the blue and with with the shark fin though. The price has definitely gone up. I paid $399 $420 all together to ship mine from Canada to the US. It's worth it though, you will love it. 😃

After wearing this helmet, other helmets will become too heavy to use. The downside is that it's too cold in winter.
