Hello Dr Sudeep. Just wish to clarify that one needs THREE years AFTER registration into his/her respective State Medical Council as a licensed Specialist in the field he is writing DHA in. It should be noted that some specialists get a Provisional and then a Final Degree. They may not get registered for a few months after attaining the Final Degree. Earlier, DHA had told that they take three years from issuance of Final Degree. But now they stress on three years after registration into State Medical Council.

Thank you very much for the informative video. I am Godwin Chiejina, currently working as a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with University of Calabar Teaching Hospital in Nigeria. I recently obtained a POSITIVE review of my documents by Dataflow Group for PSV. I have a Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) faculty of Obstetrics and gynaecology. When I proceeded to do the Self Assessment Tool at Sheryan Portal i noticed FWACS wasn't captured rather what was catured was fellowship of West African College of Physicians. My questions is does DHA view both as same or holders of FWACS are not eligible to practice in UAE. Thank you once again.

Yes CBT can be taken at Prometric centers anywhere. The PSV is handled by dataflow that happens in parallel to the exams. You need dataflow and CBT results to apply for eligibility letter. More details available online. Oral exam criteria is decided by DHA. I do not have more information on that. All the best.

I completed my MBBS in India and acquired my super speciality in Neurology from Germany, currently working as a consultant neurologist for 2 years. In the mean i completed a fellowship in rehabilitation medicine and currently doing another fellowship in geriatric medicine . As per the PQR i belong to Tier 1 and after the self assessment procedure it says i am eligible to apply for a consultant position. My question is 1) am i required to do the online test and oral assessment or will i be exempted from that?2) waht salary can i expect at this stage with the above said experience and qualifications? 3) is there a benefit regarding the family allowances as i hold a german passport. Dubai Health care city (DHCC) is a separate licensing authority with Dubai. There are hospital and clinics with DHCC. You can check the regulatory requirements on their website. You can apply for DHA and DHCC licence if you wish to work at both places /increases the chances of getting more offers. All the best.

Hlw...I'm paediatric surgeon, passed MS (paediatric Surgery) on january,2024. I'm working as assistant surgeon at govt. Hospital as a govt. Service holder. In our country (Bangladesh) MS course is a 5 yrs course.first 2 yrs called phase A, we trained with block posting in different branch of surgery & relevants ( like general surgery, casualty, general paediatrics, neonatology, radiology & imaging, oncology, clinical pathology...etc) and last 3 years called phase B, at that time we solely do training at mother subject that means for me at paediatric surgery. Now my situation is i've completed all those steps and passed MS... Though i'm not completed 3 yrs job after passing MS, can i apply in DHA as a paediatric surgery specialist/consultant? Please.

Better to approach through local HR agents as they will have more local contacts or you can make a short visit to uae for 1 month and personally hand over your cv at various establishments..they generally prefer people who are staying there

Hello Dr, I wanted to that on my registration and degree certificate the issue date is after a year from passing my MD. So what date I should mention in self assessment tool for mbbs and MD? Hi Piyush. You have to enter the issue date mentioned on the MD certificate as that will be verified by Dataflow. Once you go the data flow website, they will ask you the list of documents that you need to verify. Usually you will need MBBS, MD/DNB and the experience letters. Also you can get your medical council registration certificate verified. You do not need passing certificate verified, just degree certificate is good enough.

Hello. So you may restart working in your home country and complete the necessary months to fill in the gap. Also you need to have certain CME/CPD points in order to reapply again. Once you complete the months of training and CPD points as mentioned in the PQR (depends on the number of gap years) you can apply for the licence. You can also take the self assessment test and check your eligibility. All the best.

I work 8 months here, it is not a problem. But I don't know 120 credits correspond to what kind of training here. Just working will be enough to fill the credits?? I couldn't find anything related with this issue in the document. If you have an opinion about it, I will appreciate to hear from you. Thank you for your help
