Hi Dr Roplekar.I am a gynaecologist practicing in Delhi(freelancer).I passed my Diploma in G&O followed by 3 years of senior residency in Government hospital and 3 more years of Attending consultant in pvt organisation.I recently passed my MRCOG in February 2022.When I am trying the self assessment test there is no option of Diploma in their drop down menu.Also since I don’t have 3 years of experience after MRCOG so I am not eligible for the DHA exam it seems. Is there any other way to do this?

Hi Qadir. It depends whether you get govt/private/if you go interventional procedures etc. I would roughly guess 35-50kpm if you have qualifications, skills and experience. All the best.

Hi Mohit. Diploma is not in the list of acceptable qualifications in PQR Document. Do double check with the self assessment test for clarity.

@@mohitbuch9000 Yes the diploma was accepted until 2016. So if someone is working they might be there working before that. Anyways, you can write to DHA and see what they say. Best bet is to get FRCR and then apply. I know the FRCR is getting hard with the current situation. Even I am stuck as I have to give 2A. All the best.

Hi Waqar Ahmed Khan. Based on MBBS qualification you can work as registrar. You could also work as GP if you have 2 years experience post MBBS. I suggest you take the self assessment test for clarity. All the best.
