Vetri sir, Honestly, you deserve the space, time and creative freedom, most importantly, of course the production support from streaming service folks like Netflix, Amazon prime or others..... to get this into a mega multi-episode block buster serial. I hate to see your talent restricted by any of the non-essential elements in the current medium dominated by on-screen film industry. The future is for streaming. I am sure you know this is forthcoming. I know its hard to break away from the traditional film but it gives you sustainable viewer base, the creative freedom to appetize and feed them. You are far too good for a 2 hour on-screen film. You have a great team with you. Expecting more pathbreaking stuff within your lifetime.

I'd honestly watch the 5.5hr movie. The movie was great! Absolutely loved it... but I really felt the jerky editing and cuts and voiceovers overlapping scenes - it's just felt like an unpolished product. How such a masterpiece gets shortchanged like this beats me...I know they probably lose money doing it, but I wish they spent more time on it.

Watched vada Chennai at cineworld ilford London. There were no beeps , we could see the stock footage around MGRs demise, could hear vetrimaran giving dialogue cues for character Guna during Rajan murder scene.. and there was no back ground score for most of the film.... Wtf did we just watch😂😂😂😂 ...was it the theater's fault or did we see the pre-release version . Was it the same in India??? Nevertheless it was still an awesome film.
