Tbh a lot of Dhar Mann videos for me are Candy videos, where I go in noticing the flaws and even point them out as I'm watching, but can still have a good time with the production values and the acting. Because really none of the actors are bad, just the scripts they are given at times. Carlos I think is one of the best actors, and its nice to see you can enjoy something while still having your own mindset about how certain things are, because a lot of Dhar Mann topics can be so tone deaf. I enjoy them the most when they are over the top, but entertaining, especially with how supervillain the antagonists can be. This is why I enjoy a lot of when the actors play the villains because that's when they are their most campy and fun. Because I'm someone who enjoys so bad its good or just have fun looking into things, but I do like Dhar Mann. I just know his videos have a lot of problems. Which to be fair, I think a lot of his worst videos are ones that usually involve kids or teenagers being punished in such a hypocritical or unethical way that it makes you root for them over the ones who are suppose to give/teach the lesson. To me one of the absolute WORST videos he made as of his recent ones was "Father Abandons Wife and Kid" which is a video that justifies parental neglect. Or any video where a parent will punish one kid in such a way there's blatant favoritism at play. Like the Dhar Mann video where the irresponsible Teenager daughter is gaslit by her father and sister into thinking her sister was held ransom by criminals. The other type of worst Dhar Mann videos are the very tone deaf ones. All of the reasons above are why I always root for the Dhar Mann villains over the protagonists, the actors just seem more fun and if you enjoy camp can get past the bad script because of how hilariously hammy they are. Don't know if you'll see this August, but I'm a Dhar Mann fan who loves seeing you rip into his videos because well, they have flaws!

I wholeheartedly agree with all of this. I personally enjoy Dhar Mann’s videos, I think they’re entertaining, but I also know they are not necessarily realistic and as much as I enjoy the videos, I also enjoy seeing people react to them and give their own insights. At the end of the day, people are just throwing around light banter. No one is telling Dhar Mann to delete his channel or anything like that. Just because I find Dhar Mann’s videos entertaining doesn’t mean someone else does. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes, and after all, that’s what makes people interesting. It would be boring if everyone liked the same thing.

This is the real life counterpart of cartoons fantasizing about an episode's good ending. Also, I said this before and I kinda still hold unto it: the thing I dislike about DM are 2 points in short: 1) The acting feels watered down, like the actors look like they could have an acting career (or a temporal job for the few years they are at until they join college or something), but the writing and lack of interest from tbe writers and directors highly discourages that for the sake of financial interests. 2) The message is shallow in what I've seen from August's reviews (and no, I don't have the time to review his channel for 10+ hrs just for this comment), and they're not useful neither on kids level (lessons like stranger danger and don't waste time in games when you have a quiz tomorrow), nor in adults level (cheating and misbehaving around coworkers). And I can get part of this side (not being into totally moral conclusion rather being mostly entertaining to watch), but I'll describe it in the next paragraph. So, from a YT standpoint, I can totally see and even agree that episodes don't have to, and in cases even must not go that far as to, have a moral conclusion, given how in the end, the channel is kids-oriented. However, this allows only for lack of serious (as in on an adult level that kids can't relate to yet) advices on the content, but not the level of acting or quality of content. With that, I mean, we all remember kids shows that are (notice I said that are, and not all are, inplying not all) cringe to watch now as we've become adults, which I'm find with, and some don't always have a point in the end, or a useful one to be precise.
