While the lessons Dhar Mann teaches are usually good ones we should all live by, the quality of the content and method of spreading that message is… questionable. KZbinrs like PewDiePie and Sssniperwolf have skewered Dhar Mann’s cheesy videos countless times, I wanted to put on my scrubs to see if there was any credibility to the medical info Dhar Mann has put out there. I have an idea for a BETTER and MORE REALISTIC plot for the video about the kid who fakes an allergic reaction. Instead of him actually being allergic to peanuts, the plot should have been that he doesn't actually have an allergy to peanuts but he pretends that he does and fakes an allergic reaction. Then when Mikey inevitably gets sent to the nurse's office and the nurse calls his mom, his mom says something to the effect of, "What peanut allergy? Mikey isn't allergic to peanuts" and he learns his lesson that way. That way they could've just cut out the whole hospital scene and the hospital staff wouldn't have had to waste their time pretending to operate on Mikey.

Dr Mike talking about the kid acting ill, and teachers not making assumptions is exactly what happened to me. I had an undiagnosed heart condition from birth, I was complaining that my insides hurt and I couldn't breathe properly. Teacher dismissed it, thinking I was lying. 2 hours later I'm in surgery. But it was accompanied by Atrial fibrillation, giving me a very irregular heartbeat. The 2 surgeries (both Radiofrequency ablations) put an end to my heart just seemingly doing its own thing.

My child was one who went to the nurse every other class. The first time the teacher refused to let him go to the nurse - he had a full grand mal seizure. Turned out - he was having frequent pre-seizure episodes. Changed his meds - and the frequent nurse visits disappeared. (I felt horrible as a parent)

My mom had cancer when I was in around 2nd grade. It was so hard to see my mom lose her hair, and watching what chemo did to her was so sad. I remember one day at dinner, she left to go tho the bathroom, came back after throwing up, not feeling well, couldn’t see. Her sense of taste was also fucked up. I remember being upset when she didn’t like my favorite dinner because i was a stupid child who thought my favorite was everyone’s favorite lol, because her sense of taste was so bad. He graduated from MIT with an undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering. He is a man I look up to very much. I did a blood test for a doctor who asked me before the test if I have anything and I tell him no and do the test. The doctor tells me the tests show white cell blood count was low, that's nice and all but he totally left out the fact the same test showed I had Hep C I guess he felt that wasn't worth bringing up. I found out about 3 to 4 years later when I did a Hep C test which I only did for some gift coupons as I was sure I didn't have it, only to find I did and my kidneys were in really bad shape. I was very lucky that I found out and also because I don't drink alcohol but do have a high amount of sugar in my diet. I find it concerning that there are people that think this guy is a good doctor but I strongly disagree.
