I 100% agree with everything you said in this comment. Mikey and Jay absolutely did nothing wrong in this entire episode and the parents just randomly decided to put them in a situation like that. Yes they have done some seriously life-threatening and unforgettable things in the past, but this was absolutely ridiculous. This legit could give them lots of trauma, which could mess them up even more, especially when they hit adulthood. The parents should have been arrested a long time ago and Mikey and Jay should be in a safer home with therapy sessions. But in reality, I really hope Shaun and Caido (the real life kids playing Jay and Mikey) are doing okay in their own lives BTS of DMS. I was feeling a bit mixed on this. On the one hand, I was glad that Mikey and Jay got this sort of "revenge" factor and can say that their parents are fighting back by showing them what it's like to be them in a sense where they're being a literal menace to every single person that had contact with including them. But on the other hand, I was feeling a bit suspense because the parents are trying to tell us something. Like seriously, why would they go through the process of making this exact trap to lure the sons in and have them fear for them at the same token. It's a very dangerous situation if I may add but yeah.
