I always get confused when youtubers have multiple channels, especially if it's just because of the length of the videos. I'd prefer to have it all here. It will definitely lower the chance of me missing a video of yours. Anyway, I enjoy your content no matter how long or short it is! I'm excited to see you branch out in this way a little!

I get having different channels if the creator plans on making vastly different content than what’s currently on their channel. For example, if Joinen started doing How To Knit videos on this channel, it’d feel out of place. I mean, I’d probably watch it, but I could see a handful of viewers thinking, “This isn’t the content I subscribed for.” Having different channels allows creators to spread their wings and dabble without having to risk losing followers on their main channel. WITH THAT SAID! I feel like most of Joinen’s content on this channel falls under the commentary genre. I don’t think that videos like this are off-brand. It may be a longer video, but the content is on par. That’s not reason enough to create a separate channel, imo.

Ludwig does this in a good way, he uploads from full streams on his VOD account or (Super auto pets uncut) while the main account has the videos/compilations. But people hate variety normally so if you wanna try something new then don't do it on main channel cause it'll get less views. Depending on the format of their videos of course. But minecrafters as an example wouldn't have same amount of views if they suddenly started terraria on that channel.

I agree. If Joinen decided to do full lets plays of different videogames, then it would make sense to have a different channel. But since this is still the same content, just a different length, I personally feel like it still belongs on this channel. BUT if it was a full on VOD, unedited, then it probably should be on a different channel.

It doesn’t bother me. I am subbed to people who have other channels and subbed to those channels too. I’ll watch them without a second thought because it’s not my business to be confused about what another person does for their job or hobby. If it is still content I’d watch I’d watch it regardless of what channel it is from. Like Papa Meat and MeatCanyon

I wouldn't be annoyed by long videos on this channel. It's really conveneient to watch react videos here. If you want to separate long videos from ordinary short videos I'd recommend to make a playlist for them or/and make several hashtags to distinguish them. Thanks for your work! Personally I prefer when youtubers have one channel, multiple ones usually get lost in the feed and when you want to rewatch a video you have to remember on which channel it was posted. Make playlists instead. And I would love more longer vids like this! I didn't even realize it's 45-minute long, still very entertaining

I guess that's a good point, but I think it's fair to have multiple channels if the content is distinct enough. For example CaptainSparklez, who makes gaming videos. He then also did Reddit reaction videos, which he put on a second channel. I'm not for gaming videos, but I like seeing his reactions to car videos on Reddit, so that's what I want to subscribe to. But Joinen having two channels with the same content, just one being longer content, I can understand that not being optimal.

I actually really like the longer vids. I often use your content to calm myself down from anxiety/panic attacks because they're so funny (laughter can help shock the fear out of my system, or at least calm my cognitive response down). So, the longer vids help me have a longer cool down period per vid instead of running out of vids in like 10-20 minutes. QwQ

The banner add was for a KZbin childrens channel called blipi but in the first KZbin video that the man playing the role of blipi was in he was pooping in another man's manhole .The video was deleted but can be found in the KZbin archives , but the fact that he made a childrens channel after that is the most disturbing to me.

The longer videos are great! I prefer them :) Also, in the Dhar Mann universe, it seems like cell phones just don't exist until they are almost unneeded. If I had to go out on an uncomfortable work lunch, I would for sure be sending messages to my husband at any chance I got. I would hold onto some weird quotes and a bunch of observations to chunk out to him. If he walked out without talking to me (which would probably not happen) I would send him an "Aw noo, I'm sorry you have work!" Maybe some people don't do that or some days are just too busy, which is fine. I think people are generally more communicative than not.
