Dear Natalie, I sat up straighter once again with your introductory words, about the truth that whatever we have experienced is worth writing about. I have been writing since about fourth grade - poems, short stories, but mostly what I now call "creative non fiction." There were stretches of time when my pen or my mind were distracted by "life" - depression and anxiety, but I have always returned, hungry to digest and share, from the private journal to published work, etc. Now I frequently remember snapshots from my youth from which flow new stories. Thanks so much for the reminder - my good has become my secret and /or my theater. Mary Latela
