I think it’s very funny how this video was posted the day before I took my own driving test. Needless to say, I passed and unlike Tim, I didn’t cheat at all. It’s about understanding how to properly and responsibly drive, which is what the purpose of a license is. And after practicing driving for 3 years prior, I’m sure glad I passed.

It took me 1 year and 10 months to learn and pass the driving test. I succeeded at the 3rd attempt. Honestly, It takes a lot of commitment and hard work. I’m really proud of myself that I passed such test, whilst considering the fact that I suffer from anxiety.

I feel you man. I had a completely different test than the normal traditional driver’s test. I didn’t pass the first time. What they made me do was a closed course test. The test consists of a maneuverability test where I turn right to a stop and then backup into the same spot from where I started before and then turn left to go to another stop before going to a 4th station to parallel park and then do a three point turn to another station before backing up 50 feet. And then finally stop at a 5th station before pulling up to the final stop. It looks like something out of a cartoon. I may not have passed the first time, but second time was the charm thanks to some practice. I’m proud of you for so much determination and hard work that I also feel like it’s possible for anyone to pass their tests. I’m proud of myself as well for making it this far. I may have autism and may have gotten my license in my college years, but it proves to me and others that no matter what disorder or differences we have everyone is capable of getting their license. The only thing standing in people’s ways are themselves. Nothing is impossible.

I took both my written and driving test in my sophomore year. Whenever I wasn't driving I always took notes of things to remember when I eventually get behind the wheel and when I did driving sessions leading up to the test, I always took note of what I could've done better in the sessions and keep that in mind for when I take the test.

I failed the driving test twice due to my disability of slow-learning since my birth, nervousness and self-doubt. Taking my driving test a decade ago was always a headache-here in Ohio, we have a maneuverability test with cones and pipes. And the first few times I took either test (road or written), it was far from perfect. Bottom line: it took me a long time to finally get the techniques down before actually getting my license. I supposedly inherited Dad's old minivan but didn't get much use out of it, so he sold it off. Even with a license, I prefer to bike around town.

I honestly don’t remember my encounter with the DMV workers. I just did what they told me to do and did my written test. Well, technically it wasn’t a written test. It was a test on their computer with a touchscreen. It was pretty easy for me, because I studied super hard for it. I’m not sure if other DMVs do computerized tests but that’s how I did mine.

This was a really cool video. I liked how they got Carlos Chavez to play the good guy and the voice of reason while they got Charles Laughlin to play the bad guy again. I liked how this taught you that cheating on a driving test was a federal crime along with bribing your driving instructor into letting you pass your exam anyway since a driving exam is a government exam and a driving instructor is a government employee. And I look forward to seeing more collaborations with Carlos and Charles later on.

I remembered taking my driving test twice from one month each other. The 1st test that I failed by a couple of points. The 2nd test that I took that I passed it. That the 2nd one was almost 23 years ago. I had my own car back then which was a 1998 Ford Contour. I didn’t have any modern technology as in todays cars. It had old school in it. It had cruise control, power windows, power locks, cup holders, and a radio with a tape cassette player. It had everything that I want in a car at that time. Even air bags for the driver and front seat passenger. Now I drive a 2020 Ford Escape SE in black that I only have it since mid March of this year. It had parking assistance in it but, I don’t use it at all. Last August that I pulled into for a parallel parking between my 2 neighbors cars. I didn’t backed into it but, I did a pretty good parking job. I’m pretty good in pulling into a parking spot or backing into one.

I took my road test, i took it twice. I took it on my 2005 Honda Pilot. I dont have any modern technology on my car. From what ik, they make u cover back up cameras n turn off all of those auto pilot features

I used to drive a 1995 Ford Contour. I loved it. Then it caught on fire while it had been parked in front of the house for over 11 hours. The firefighters had found out and put it out. They found out that it was because of a bad alternator put in. I had it put in by a LubePros who said it needed it. We informed them of it. We later found out that the case would take forever so we threw it out but insurance helped pay for another car. That LubePros went out of business and is now a different car place.

I failed my test the first time. Mainly because I couldn't get a turnabout right. It was hard considering there was snow everywhere. I practiced to get a turnabout right. I passed the second time. But you know, I've been driving for over 20 years and I've never used or needed to use a turnabout once.

I remember taking my drivers test a month before my senior year of high school. My permit actually expired right before it was opened but I got a 90 day extension because of the pandemic and the DMV being closed in the spring. I passed my test and I was so surprised because im a horrible driver. I'm definitely going to forget how to drive this summer, because not only I'm in college without my car but I have epilepsy and I had a seizure at the end of last year that costed me 6 months of no driving. driving is so fun!! But it's never good to cheat to get ahead, i would've much rather failed with honesty than cheat just to pass

When it comes to driving its like riding a bicycle. You don't forget how to drive, you just out of practice is all. I've feel for you about the seizures. My younger cousin is gonna be legally old enough very soon and she has seizures as well. She ended up in the hospital more than 2 weeks and has had a few seizures atleast already. Everyone in my is worried for her. Try and recognize what how where and when when you have a seizure,, track those time as a learning tool to know when it is safe and when it's not safe to drive. The self driving cars in the future can help those such as yourself and my cousin and others alike be able to avoid such dangers. Elon Musks neurolink could help in recognizing when something like seizures for example and communicate with the car and telling to switch to autopilot to the nearest hospital and inform the local authorities with live tracking to assist intercepting you and your car to assist in safely getting you to the hospital. This is a good practice of AI imo.

@@slowride1006 i don’t get frequent seizures and my epilepsy isn’t severe, so i don’t keep a diary. the reason i had a seizure in december (after 4 years seizure free) was because my birth control interfered with my anti seizure medication and made it ineffective therefore increasing seizure activity. All the seizures ive had after i was diagnosed were either because of being taken off my medication or my medication interfering with other medications. Without my medicine, i would still be having seizures. Now i know that hormonal birth control is a huge no for me, unless i wanna keep having seizures and not being able to drive 😂😂

@@laurenorourke2442 I also took a break from driving 2 years ago for a few months but instead caused by my frequent 15 second absence seizures (where I said or did things I did then 0 remembrance of) caused by my higher stress at the time (I had all sorts of head scans and no abnormalities were picked up though I still have to go for at least 2 more MRI scans once a year)
