I wouldn't have wanted "Dad" around those boys, if they were MY sons...if anything, I'd have told him "What are you doing here? I thought you were dead - I disowned you a long time ago and have my OWN family, and I don't want you - nothing more than a virus - in it, so stay away from ME, MY husband (in my case), and MY sons, and go back to your cave and die in it, old man - and take your misery with you!"

When Tristan died I just starting tearing up so hard, he pushed them so hard Into being a state champion that the first brother died of to much strain or something and the second one committed sucide, because he was constantly being told that he would never be good enough and of stress. and the fact that they’re actual fathers who are like this:(💔

I wish the mother stood up for the kids, maybe Tristan and Gabe would still be alive if she fought for them and showed that their mother also cared about them. Those poor kids were neglected, especially Tristan who definitely suffered the most emotional abuse out of the three just because he was different. The Father should’ve lost all of his rights to ever seeing his children after the abuse started

I felt bad for the mom because she definitely was also being abused so I understood why she didn’t do anything, but at the same time it made me so mad when she didn’t even try to stand up for her sons and try to confront the dad. This story was amazing. Tristan's passing was so sad I almost cried. The only thing is that the dad was still there i think the mom and dad should have goten a divorce. Although it would hurt the family mentally but it would be the right decision. I have discovered parents to and it hurts to have that happen when you are very young like me i was only 3 when my parents got a divorce. And they dont get along at all so it os hard to see them interact but you have to remember that you and anyone can get throung hard things.

What a terrible father. Pushing his sons to do something they never wanted to do in the first place. I'm surprised he still didn't realize it even after his only alive son left gave him a reality check. This is the biggest mistake of a father I've ever seen, and I've seen some crappy parents. EDIT: Oh, Jesus. I haven't had this many people on my side before.

It’s lowkey the mothers fault too, she never once defended her sons when she saw the father verbally and emotionally abusing them. I 100% understand why she didn’t do anything because of how violent and abusive he was but it still wasn’t right for her to just not defend her children. In the future If i saw my children’s father abusing them I would’ve stood up for them in a heartbeat even if it meant I was about to get hurt. He’s an awful father and im sad that Marcus didn’t fully cut him off and that he was still allowed to see Marcus and his children and treat his grandkids the same way he treated Marcus and his brothers

This video is one of the best. Especially because the ''father'' learned nothing. This ''father'' , I constantly had to call him AH. He doesn't have the right to call himself father. I am happy that Marcus finally stood up to him. I wish I could have said to the ''father'' that he is a murderer. And when he tried to pull the same stunt on the grandson I would have liked to ask him if he wants to sent the grandson into an early grave as well. But what Marcus said to the ''father'' was already good. When he told him that his brothers died because of him. Considering the emotional abuse the 3 boys were subjected to, it was an incredible feat to finally speak these words. Very hard but good video. This time I was really shocked.

Not gonna lie, this is probably the best video in a while. Some things were particularly relatable. I literally got goosebumps when Marcus read Tristan's goodbye note (almost produced tears too). Don't wanna trauma dump so I will stop here. But it's crazy stuff how the dad didn't care when both of his sons were dying. I know some dads like that exist so my thought process is that they want to see their sons succeed at their dreams so much that they end up becoming abusive and almost seeing them as tools.

This video was an emotional roller coaster and surprisingly realistic, but I would’ve emancipated myself if I had a dad like that

I just watched the video and there NEEDS to be a part 2 in which the dad realizes he has lost everything

He should have stood up his dad on behalf of his son. Something to the nature of, “If you ever talk to my son like that again, it will be the last time you ever talk to him.” Honestly, until the dad repents, he should be forbidden contact with his grandsons.

The dad is an absolute shithead if you ask me - someone who refuses to learn their lesson or change their ways, regardless of how it harms their loved ones
