I so wanted to slap the mother, but the kids, they were so wonderful and was great that they didn't take after their mother. I wish that she would have had some comeuppance for what she did to Andrew for the abuse she put him through. It was great that they put all that time and energy to help him locate and reunite him with his biological mother. I would've loved to see, though, Andrew tossing those socks in his second foster mother's face, grabbing his things, and leaving with his mother saying, BYE, FELICIA.

This brought tears to my eyes. A lot of foster mothers, not saying all of them, look at foster kids like a bank account. These kids deserve to be loved to, as if they were their own biological children. Treat people like you want to be treated. It's so sad, things like this happen in real life.

Amen, it's about loving the child and wanting to see that a child can be successful knowing you gave more than 100% to make a child life filled with love. Many people do use them as a bank account when the money should be also used for them. I say, to be a foster parent it takes lots of love deep down in your soul not just your thoughts.

God remember the children, foster children, adopted children, and bio kids, they need to be treated with love, please make sure they are placed With people that love them and please if at all possible, help them to be reunited with bio parents. 😅

Fr! Like me and my family went to a church where the pastor and his wife has fostered and then adopted a sibling group of four along with their own three biological kids. And the we saw all the time how the biological kids got everything first. They got better clothes, they got cell phones first and better phones, they got nicer cars and better cars. And they got to do anything they wanted, while the adopted kids got the cheaper stuff. It was really sad to watch.

Iv been in his shoes...it still hurt to this day. No family, doing everyone elses dishes and chores, watching everyone else open gifts but me, only eating one serving while everyone else gets doubles or triples etc. So i ran and became emancipated. I would be fine with socks for Christmas. But come on, the second foster mom was smiling and handing biological kids expensive gifts like Ipads and game systems, but then coldly threw just a pair of wrapped socks at Andrew. It wasn't just that Andrew just got a pair of socks. But she was basically telling him with that gift that is all he is worth. Andrew seemed to be treated not as bad as the first foster mom, but still, he was still treated badly compared to her biological kids.

One time a Dhar man video made me actually emotional. As someone who’s looking to foster/adopt someday, I’d never want a child to feel unloved or outcasted…heart breaking to know there are plenty of people out there using foster children as “businesses” as this video suggests. Great video.

This why our society is broken. It's because people take advantage of others just for materalistic things like money. Hi Dhar Mann! My name is Tyler Ikeda and I have always wanted to inspire. I really appreciate the message behind this video because us as humans play a role in this world, which is to love one another. Seeing Ayden playing the role of Andrew really emphasizes the fact that we need to do our part as civilized human beings to love one another no matter what ! Everyone!
