This raga is a good ante dote for depression. It makes a listener cry out by pouring out the suppressed feelings and emotions. Dharmavati is very effective in healing kidney diseases like Kidney stones, Fabry disease, Diabetic Nephropathy, Glomerulonephritis etc.

There is no raaga for improving memory. Chants can improve concentration levels. " Hamsadhvani" can create impact on Nervous system and Brain aswell. Please do check it.:)

not really, madhuvanthi sounds similar to dharmavathi as it is a janya raga and takes its form from dharmavathi, where as dharmavathi is a sampoorna raga and ne of the melakarthas in Carnatic classic music system
