I already know people are going to say "Reeps was better" or "Dharni is too old school" but hear me out. First off Reeps is a different style beatboxer. More high energy and grime and DnB. While Dharni is much more methodical and flow oriented. Both are fantastic at what they do. Second, this showcase doesn't even show half of what Dharni can do. To put it simply, he was chilling. He kept it simple tey fresh and with his own flare, and with higher musicality than Reeps for all of you who love to compare. So dont hate on this cuz it wasn't "your style" enjoy it and keep going. Maximum Respect to Dharni (and Reeps, just used you as an example)

EduarGmez15 What I mean is, unlike long time ago, beatboxers like alem or skiller or many other new comers have better technical skills than dharni. I know Dharni wasn't known for super technical, he was known for his sick musicality. Well, nowadays, people like Gene takes the crown in my book. By no means I'm disregarding Dharni. He is an important figure for the beatboxing community we see today. Without him, the community as we know it won't exist. That goes for many other old school. Babeli, Krnfx, Reeps, Zede, Daichi, Hikakin(KZbin inspirations for many, including B-Art) AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, fucking Bee-Low. I am still a diehard fan of Dharni though. He's been working out I see, look at them Biceps. :)

Dharni is old school and some of his beats are a little dated compared to new schools standard, but he still gave a good showcase. When I saw this on the livestream, I thought this was the best he could do nowadays, until I saw the "7 to smoke" battles. Wonder why he didn't use some of those beats.
