12 day trek around the worlds 7th highest peak carrying our own equipment and food. Hopefully this will be a helpful resource for anyone hoping to do the trek on their own like we did.

Finished the same tour ~one month ago. We had so much more snow ..but it was superb! Cut it down to 10 days and it will take many years till I get my ass into a tent above 5000hm again! Cu

Wow this seems like a dream tour. Do you have to be experienced to do this trek?
@videonautsgrauadleronthero8215 Жыл бұрын
@@Meditative_Walk It's tough, very basic and far away. You should do some regular tours like Annapurna or Manaslu before. My suggestion only ✌️
@Meditative_Walk Жыл бұрын
@@videonautsgrauadleronthero8215 thank you for the suggestion. Will plan to do one of those first and keep Dhaulagiri in mind for later. The Manslu circuit seems far more remote than Annapurna so would prefer that

@@Meditative_Walk Manaslu is a great choice 👍 but you will need a guide & permit. Group of min 2 people necessary. Great landscape..quiet and you might continue on the Annapurna Trek. So many choices..shit I feel like I need to get back 😁

great info, thank You. After Anapurna Circuit, Manaslu Tsum valley circuite and Langtan Ri and Three passes trek I would love to do the Daulaghiri Cirguite But, I am a bit weary to do it on my own. Do You know are there often groups parting from Pokarah that one could join one there ? I read that there are now tents on French pass. Is it true? which season did you go? Looks like you had rhododendron flowers, so was it spring? would love to get your ebook. thank You!

This was in the fall of 2017. We camped in the valley between French Pass and Dhamphus Pass, the only tents we saw were at basecamp. I guess maybe 15-20 groups cross per year but not sure! Good luck :)
