Hi George and sue thanks for the video if you went right at the roundabout it would have taken you to Richmond village where I lived next to the saddle club I spent a lot of time at the sailing club my dad loved sailing. I was also in the dhekelia shark's swimming club and the scouts.

Hi George and Su thank so much for cheering me up yet again and for another fantastic Vlog our holiday home is not far from here and I have been to the base for delish fish and chips and we go on that beach where that derelict building is were all the locals have parties and bbq and we are going to have to go to cops cats when come back Cyprus for some delish cakes as I do love cats myself and I have been in Jumbo lots of times and I did go in McDonald’s when i was in Cyprus in September

Thanks for showing us George stayed round that area slot pyla. Also go to the barracks a lot for fish and chips they do a wicked banana milkshake , also stayed at hotel. Hynipa. Oof never again worste hotel ever go down to the dungeon for breakfast lol. Rooms wer terrible cockroaches mice. Leakin ceiling. That would be an intresting one for. Hello, George! I have been to Dhekelia on December, 1st. I got to the power plant by bus 425 and then walked to Larnaca along the entire coast, except for that part near the military garrison. It was a great walk! At @12:25 right after the fuel station, you missed one place worth mentioning. This is John's Way. In 2017, Corporal John Fernandez died in that place, he was hit by a car. You can see a small memorial in his honor and a reminder to pedestrians that it is better to walk on the sidewalk.

The Dhekelia power station is the smallest of four Cypriot enclaves inside the Dhekelia army base. The power plant, built by the colonial British government in 1955 next to the army base, became a part of Cyprus in 1960 although the UK retained control of the surrounding base area and the road that runs through the plant. The border of 933 metres is the 9th shortest land border in the world.

According to the SBA Gazette you are allowed to film even the military camps from public, Photography and film 17.-(1) It is important that police officers are aware, in exercising their counter-terrorism powers, that- (a) members of the public and media do not need a permit to file or photograph in public places; (b) it is not an offence for a member of the public or journalist to take photographs/film of a public building; (c) the police have no power to stop the filing or photographing of incidents or police personnel. (2) Police officers can under section 5 stop and search someone taking photographs/film within an authorised area, just as they can stop and search any other member of the public in the proper exercise of their discretion in accordance with the legislation and provisions of this Code. But an authorisation itself does not prohibit the taking of photographs or digital images. (3) On the rare occasion that an officer reasonably suspects that photographs/film are being taken as part of hostile terrorist reconnaissance, action under section 1 of the Official Secrets Act 1911 may be appropriate or an arrest should be considered. Whilst terrorists may undertake hostile reconnaissance as part of their planning and this could entail the use of a camera or video equipment, it is important that police officers do not automatically consider photography/filming as suspicious behaviour. The size of the camera/video equipment should not be considered as a risk indicator. Quite surprisingly, considering the reaction I had for taking a photo of a Cyprus Police car in Ayia Napa
