I will be looking up all podcasts that contain Dhoruba, Dr(s). Joy James , Ajamu Baraka and " CBS " starting this Monday . PURE inspiration , insight and integrity as far as I am concerned .

Jared , you need to interview Ron Wilkins. Dhoruba knows him. Ron can tell you the "real history" on the history of the West Coast Panthers and their levels of consciousness and attitudes toward east coast panthers

@@elombebrathfoundation3516 I think that too would be an interesting show even more so would be Dhoruba response .

Dhoruba is ABSOLUTELY correct about the unacceptable compromise of our demand for community Control of the police. We continue to fight this here in Louisville. The goal is to gain control of the entire policing apparatus - pending abolition - NOT the creation of some toothless community 'review' board.

He is correct but tying that liberal ass reformist watered down community review board to survival pending revolution is opportunistic or unfair and a reach at best.

So many people on KZbin commenting about this docu-series talking about all the wrong things. I just kindly post a link to these conversations. Respect Dr. JAB and Dhoruba Bin Wahad.

Thank you for this series, and thank you Dhoruba for sharing your wisdom. One topic that I would like to see discussed in regards to the Dear Mama series is whether or not 2Pac had any connection to MXGM. There are a couple of instances when MXGM comes up in the show and we see Chokwe Lumumba defending Pac at one point. I would love to see a discussion of the political climate during the 90s with a guest like Kali Akuno, Rosa Clemente and/or Kamau Franklin. I know the topic of MXGM organizing around hip hop and political prisoners has been mentioned before but I think this series offers a good opportunity to go a bit deeper into that history. Thanks again for the great content!

Can we have Dhoruba on once more to discuss the Dar-Ul-Islam movement in North America? He’s mentioned it quite a bit in passing but seems like fascinating history to uncover how the state sought to dismantle a predominantly Black Muslim movement that wasn’t the NOI.

I love it so much when Dhoruba gets a giggle out of something. It's good to see him laugh. on a different note, I watched episode 4 (have not seen the first 3) and i fell asleep. literally. i did not at all appreciate it on any level, including stylistically. i found the overlapping and overlaying of interviews messy and ineffective 🙌🏽❤

Love these… but Jared be interrupting him right when he’s about to say something juicy. I wanted to hear more on Elaine Brown’s takeover and etc., when he mentioned it.

I don't think I'll be watching this series...Then again, I don't watch most Black American films today because all I hear is N-words and B-words.
