I’m currently sitting with a pair of Bose QC II in my ears that I bought yesterday. … but I bought a pair of these Beo EX that should be here tomorrow and will probably return the Bose. … Bose sounds “good” if you like excessive bass that muddles up everything else. I just got an over ear wired pair of Meze 99’s and the difference of hearing everything crisp and clear and balanced is astonishing. I think companies like Bose and JBL throw in a bunch of heavy bass to cover up for lack of true quality sound engineering. … looking forward to trying these EX’s and hoping the ANC isn’t as terrible as people say. … but at the end of the day my #1 care is hi-fi sound. 👂🏿

@@Idunia80able after six months of owning both the Bose and the bang, and Olufsen, I use the B O, hardly ever. the noise cancellation is absolutely terrible. And the Bose has such a better tighter fit. even though the sound on the BEO is so much better, all in all the Bose wins in every other category. The BO has some major connectivity faults also.… now in the last couple weeks, I’ve made a transition away from Bluetooth entirely, and I’m using wired IEMs. 7hz Timeless is my first pair and I love them.

It is outrageously expensive, but I’d really like to get earbuds that won’t make my Sennheiser HD 660s sound planets ahead. I don't see a problem with the price point I have friends who spend 15 hundred $ on a cell phone or 2 thousand $ on golf clubs. Great review! I owned some Apple AirPods Pro with Comply Tips that worked great, but I work around white noise environments, so I needed better noise-canceling. Enter Bose QC Earbuds, I loved the noise-canceling, but the things always fell out after a few minutes. I thought they would fit better with that ear hook thingy. I needed a good-fitting set of Earbuds for a while now (I’ve used Apple AirPods Max, fantastic WOW), so I have to admit I watched and read reviews on the B&O EX, and I yours found highly well-informed, entertaining, and funny. I never owned B&O, but I love their design but, WTF $$$! So I bought the B&O EX; many reviews are spot on, just like yours. The sound quality is extraordinary! From acoustic music to Deep Bass EDM, Classical, and Hip-Hop. Whatever you can play, you’ll hear something new. For me, that’s worth the extra money. Honestly, the ANC is great too, not on par with Bose, but with some firmware updates, it’ll improve along with software controls (mind you, they are on V5.1 latest as of this post), and these have not even been out a year (don’t quote me, internet nerds). Yes, there are cheaper Earbuds, but you don’t buy a Honda Accord and expect it to perform like a BMW M4 (or insert some other reference here). Now, I think I will need to buy an AirTag and tape them to each one and the case. I too agree losing one is going to SUCK!

You know what just because something has an expensive price tag.The fact is as I own a pair they are well worth the price. Why because I not left wanting a better pair of earbuds. That fact is very important to me. To actually be more than satisfied with my purchase is paramount. If I'm not going to be purchasing a new pair of earbuds every year or six months. Therefore I am actually saving money. I don't see me searching for or buying another pair in 3 years. So they are not pulling an apple price grab. In my opinion are not over priced by much maybe $50 or so. But I can say that $50 is going to branding or paying for the name.

Currently, there's no TWS buds that do well in windy conditions (for calls). In the end, only wired buds or headphones with boom mic seem to render the voice correctly, since it's closer to the mouth. I would love to have your take on this, and maybe a video targeted to people who need to make lots of calls outside.

Considering qualcomms lossless codec and apples alac codec - do you think the software will be updatable on these earbuds or will this require a newer Bluetooth version and hence all current hardware will be rendered out of date when lossless codecs hit mainstream? love your reviews. These are more than I'd spend, perhaps if they had replaceable batteries so they could be used for 10 years+ (dreaming, I'd loose them by then). I saw a video on how to change the battery for the Sony xmf3 so perhaps there is hope. The Sony WFXM3 are a quarter of the price (they're heavily discounted) and have NFC pairing too. It would be great to hear what you think of some of the older earbuds that are now available at much reduced prices.

Sometimes to squeeze out microphone performance in tough situations I try to see which earbud has the master microphone and turn that one away from the wind/noise. In the wind test the B&O seemed to be using the right bud

The phone calls suck on the EX. They feel really outdated when it comes to the voice quality in most outdoors conditions. The Airpod Pro 2 is the best out there but they were not as much comfortable as the EX so I am stuck with the EX as my main purpose is to listen to music while running/walking.

@@ichigokurosaki9117 I'm seriously considering returning the EXs. Yes. Not because they're bad. They're excellent in fact! But I already have EQs that I can't return. The EXs are a little louder, they have more bass (available, not forced on you), and a marginally better instrument separation anD resolution, and if I didn't already have the EQs, I would be very happy with them. But I do, and I think the noise cancelling is slightly better on EQs, as I mention before, the multipoint implementation is better on EQs, and EQs also fit my ears better (YMMV). I've already orderen Beoplay H95 I should receive them tomorrow. Then I'll decide for sure if I'm gonna return EX or not. Although, people I'm calling say that the call quality is excellent on EX in noisy environment so it's quite hard decision.

I got my Beoplay EX a few weeks ago and love how they fit and sound! The only concern is the wear sensor; each earphone is equipped with a wear sensor and automatically cuts its power when removed, "without pausing music playback"; I thought the music should pause when removing them. I got it for 410 euros after watching the reviews on KZbin. A disaster of a sound signature for such a price tag with highs that reminded me of cheap tweeters no matter how i moved around the 'eq' . The audio quality while on a video call as well was tinny. Been not so much in to headsets or earbuds in general as I love listening to bookshelfs, floorstanding ones and this by the way is the worst 400 euros i ever spent on audio . Don't know how they manage to get these reviews.

One hour with the EX and momentum 3 (post update with sound customised) definitely prefer the momentum. Clearer sounstage stronger bass but no bloat and a nice treble and midrange. Bought both from Amazon now returning the ex. Ps if you want the momentum are way louder but I listen around 70%. Can imagine the ex being fatiguing after a prolonged listen as occasionally sharp .
