I think the keyword here is "glorifying". I definitely don't 100% agree with dhruth rathee but still there is some truth in his viewpoint. Like badal gave an example of vinland saga. It still showed the violence and was able to redeem it. If a specific director keeps showing mysogeny in his movies and glorifying it, then i think there is a problem.

My problem with dhruv rathee and only problem with him. Is he makes trys make things concrete when there are based on chances. Instead of saying this mentality I'll people watches this type of movie. He should've "as a society we must not view this bad actions as desirable" Technically speaking everybody who plays GTA doesn't go on killing spree in real life and doesn't support it either. Animal movie is not about violence it's a story of a character which loves his dad but ignored by him , he feels loneliness by that and he wants to dominate them which is related to him in his life but he do in wrong way and I am not biased with this film but I think movies impact on philosophy of an person and on somewhere in his life. We say that we take the movie as an fantasy but it is impacting in your life somewhere so it is necessary that you see movie carefully. And stop listening there opinions make your opinion. These guy are not mature enough to make good influence on others.

The fact is that he said if a young kid who watches red pilled content he will be very badly influenced by animal but If a kid who lives in a good environment and watches the movie, he is less likely to become a misogynist. Wow after reading the comments i truly wonder if anyone has even watched both the videos that Dhruv rathee made - Gangs of wasseypur one and the Animal one. In his GOW video . he clearly talks bout HOW THE MOVIE WAS CREATED , the casting , the music, its impact and etc. People saying that his perspective is inconsistent but well ofc it is , because both videos arent talking bout the same thing. The GOW video doesnt focus on the themes of the movie , rather it focus on its production. The ANIMAL video that he recently made focuses on its themes and how it is cancerous to the society according to Dhruv obviously. He even MENTIONS THAT GOW IS A VIOLENT MOVIE just like ANIMAL. How is he a hypocrite then. The two videos are completely different and the focus isnt the same. And its Dhruv's opinion , its not like its gonna make someone cry , i agree with his take on ANIMAL but i still enjoyed the movie because i enjoy watching violent movies. that doesnt make ANIMAL or even GOW a "BAD" movie but it also doesnt make them "NON-VIOLENT" . Now i bet someone gonna disagree with me without reading this full paragraph. tho if it was me i wouldnt even look at such a big ass paragraph too.
