One more thing to be noted here is that Japanese dropped bombs in Calcutta (Kolkata) and were so close to capture northeast India. Battle of Kohima and Imphal were decisive where Netaji Bose's Azad Hind Fauj (INA) was fighting under Japanese Empire confront British Indian Army fighting under British Empire. It was a dual loss because Indians were being killed on both sides. Jai Hind!!

Watched Part 1 on the day of it's release with my 11 year old and then continued watching about Hiter and then about world war 1. Today Started Watching this video.. ..went back to Part 1 again to refresh memories and then continued watching the Part 2 .Ended with the video on Hiroshima Nagasaki bombings... I’ll be honest. Earlier before this WW2 series by you, I was not much interested in World War 2. I only knew the outline that till 1942 Hitler scored sweeping victories everywhere which changed after that and after nuclear holocaust, Axis power lost. But this video series not only took my knowledge to next level but also made me watch the Netflix series “WW2 in colour”. I correlated what you told and compared it with Netflix series. I’m now having a lot more interest and I feel much more acknowledged about the greatest war of all time.

He missrd some important points. (i) Sacrifice of USSR: 27 million (ii) Fall of Reichstag by USSR 80% of the credit goes to USSR as it was only after Hitler gave all his forces to fight Soviets in East which created a loophole in the Western Front and that made British Royal AirForce's work easier. Without USSR , UK could be overrun by the Nazis. He narrated from a British point of view.

WW2 benefited India very well. Britain was busy in war and thus our revolutionaries started to protest for independence. Britain told india that u support us in war nd we will give u freedom after war. But India denied it and took freedom by them. The only Good thing happened from war.
