With a very heavy heart I have to admit I ain't proud to be an Indian anymore. India needs to change and we need to do this. We should accept we are at worst right now and come out of the illusion of "Mera bharat mahaan". Only then will we work together to bring upon a change.

you have missed most important thing.. in Lakshadweep, for emergency medical service they have one helicopter as ambulance to come to mainland India for treatment facilities. that ambulance can be operated with just medical officer's approval. now they are making a new law, under which the people need to get approval from a four benched committee for emergency air lift. think about the patients who are in critical condition. if they dot get approval from this committee they can't avail any advanced treatment

Of course the government that comes in power is the one that is liked by the people and this Patel guy is a politician that is not even chosen by the people of lakshadweep. I think its better for him to leave the land rather than asking the natives to leave
