Dunki isnt only about Indians. Hundreds of thousands of Afghans, Syrians, Iraqis and Somalis have become illegal immigrants due to the situation their countries. Many die on the way. As an Afghan immigrant in Europe, this movie resonated differently amongst me and my family and other Afghans that saw it. Thank you Rajkumar Hirani and SRK for making such a powerful and heart warming movie about such a serious concept. I urge everyone go watch it at cinemas, for your own pleasure.

*Italy also have this process, the flight takes them from Dhaka to Libya and then they go to Libya border. If you don't have money you can go to libya , work save money and give to agent. Agent will give you boat (sometime speed boat, floating boat and if you're lucky then a ship) . As an Afghan 🇦🇫 from Sweden 🇸🇪 i can relate to this 😢 my family had to face so many calamities before finally reaching Sweden ( the son of mother's father died in agony from hunger on the way to the final destination 🇸🇪 in Serbia ) which was a very welcoming safe haven at the time i was born here ( in 2003 ) it would be more righteous if every safe country would finally agree to accomodate those who need to flee imminent danger rather than pretending to advocate for human rights on the public stage ☹️

The movie was an eye opener and the life threatening challenges faced by them made us emotional.. When I saw the movie I was silent for some time because I couldn't comprehend how this can be true but when I searched more about it on KZbin I saw interviews of many people who said the journey was worst than we thought...

I live in Arizona, close to the Mexico border, and it's common to hear about people from various countries attempting to enter the US illegally in search of work. They face incredibly difficult journeys, including navigating through dense forests and enduring freezing nights in the desert, where temperatures can be around 4 degrees Celsius. Many risk their lives by climbing onto roof tops of train, exposing themselves to extreme weather and dangerous conditions. It's deeply upsetting to see these immigrants go through such extreme hardships. They often lack proper food and water, threats of getting robbed during their journey, and the fear of getting caughtby the cops. All of this is heartbreaking and a monument to their resiliency-their will to search for a better life despite these huge challenges.
