Dunki isnt only about Indians. Hundreds of thousands of Afghans, Syrians, Iraqis and Somalis have become illegal immigrants due to the situation their countries. Many die on the way. As an Afghan immigrant in Europe, this movie resonated differently amongst me and my family and other Afghans that saw it. Thank you Rajkumar Hirani and SRK for making such a powerful and heart warming movie about such a serious concept. I urge everyone go watch it at cinemas, for your own pleasure.

I am mechanical engineer and im lucky atleast I got a job in india , working in the top 5th city with 5 lak per anum after family expenses and I didnt save any money, I came here on F1 for MS on full funding and I do part time job and save 5 laks after all my USA and family expenses back in India, India has no opportunities for more than 50% of people, even for educated engineering graduates !! im making more here on part time than India, Then guess average Indian with out high skilled degree who is making 1 lak per anum thats hell especially especial family depends on that income, I am sure comparing to that coming here on B2 staying under the rador making $2000(Vs $100 in India) a month is a luxury in comparison

The movie was an eye opener and the life threatening challenges faced by them made us emotional.. When I saw the movie I was silent for some time because I couldn't comprehend how this can be true but when I searched more about it on KZbin I saw interviews of many people who said the journey was worst than we thought...
