The animals are the basic thing that you must have if you are a farmer. Because, lets assume your crop didn't grow as you aspected then you have your animals to earn by selling dairy products ,eggs....you will earn more than you crops...farmers having animal normally don't face money issues. I also belong to a farmer family once we had nothing now we are doing well in farming, main reason is that we had cows.
