*Don't forget 8 deeds in Dhul Hijjah* Regarding the first ten days of Dhu’l-Hijjah, Prophet (ﷺ) said: *"There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allaah than these ten days."* The people asked, *"Not even jihaad for the sake of Allaah?"* He said, "Not even jihaad for the sake of Allaah, except in the case of a man who went out to fight giving himself and his wealth up for the cause, and came back with nothing." (Bukhaari, 2/457) 👉What can we do during these days: *1. Fasting:* One of the best deed we can do is fasting the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah, because fasting is one of the best of deeds. 👉In a hadith qudsi Allaah says: "All the deeds of the son of Adam are for him, except for fasting, which is for Me and I am the One Who will reward him for it." (Bukhaari, 1805) 👉The Prophet (ﷺ) said: *“Fasting the day of `Arafah expiates the sins of two years: the past one and the coming one.”* [Muslim] 👉Allah almighty says, "This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favour upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion." (Surah al Maa'idah 5:3) 👉The day of Arafah is on 9th of Dhul-Hijjah. That is the day before Eid. *2. Read the Quran:* 👉Reading the Qur’an is a good deed and Allah (swt) especially loves the good deeds done in these days. *3. Pray your 5 daily Salah:* 👉Our Prophet (ﷺ) said: *"The first thing for which people will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection will be their salaah(5 daily prayer)."* Also increase your Nawafil prayer. The best Nawafil prayer is Tahajjud. *4. Make lots of dhikr:* 👉Prophet (ﷺ) commanded us to recite a lot of Tasbeeh, Tahmeed and Takbeer during this time. Tahleel is to say "Laa ilaaha il-lal-laah" Takbeer is to say "Allahu Akbar" Tahmeed is to say "Alhamdulillaah" Tasbeeh is to say "Subhanallaah". 👉You may also recite: *اَللهُ اَكْبَرُ- اَللهُ اَكْبَرُ-لآاِلَهَ اِلاَّاللهٌ وَاللهُ اَكْبَرُاَللهُ اَكْبَرُ وَِللهِ الْحَمْدُ* Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar, laa ilaaha ill-Allaah, wa Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar, wa Lillaah il-hamd. (Allaah is Most Great, Allaah is most Great, there is no god but Allaah, Allaah is Most great, Allaah is most great, and to Allaah be praise). 👉Recite it loudly in the mosque, the home, the street and every place where it is permitted to remember Allaah and mention His name out loud, as an act of worship. 👉Men should recite these phrases out loud, and women should recite them quietly. *5. Seek forgiveness from Almighty Allah:* Use these blessed days to seek forgiveness for all our wrongdoings. 👉The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, *"Sometimes I perceive a veil over my heart, and I supplicate Allah for forgiveness a hundred times in a day."* (Sahih Muslim) 👉The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is: *Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Khalaqtani wa ana `Abduka, wa ana `ala `ahdika wa wa`dika mastata`tu, A`udhu bika min Sharri ma sana`tu, abu'u Laka bini`matika `alaiya, wa abu'u laka bidhanbi faghfir lee fa innahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta."* اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ Meaning: O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god besides You. You created me and I am Your servant, following your covenant and [my] promise to you as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil that I have done. Before You I acknowledge Your blessings bestowed upon me and I confess my sins to You. So forgive me, for surely no one can forgive sins except You. The Prophet (ﷺ) added. *"If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise."* Bukhari (6306) 👉How to recite? kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2KaqKJunJmkpcU *6. Give in charity* Give in charity in these blessed days, as much as you can. *7. Sacrifice:* One of the good deeds that will bring a person closer to Allaah during these ten days is offering a sacrifice, by choosing a high-quality animal and fattening it. 👉Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, "When you see the new moon of Dhu’l-Hijjah, and one of you wants to offer a sacrifice, let him refrain from (removing anything) from his hair or nails.” (Muslim, 1977) *8. Stay away from Sins:* May Almighty Allah guide us to fulfill His commands and keep us away from committing all kinds of sins whether major or minor! Ameen 👉Other Good deeds: Making supplication (du’aa’), honouring parents, upholding the ties of kinship, enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil, and other good deeds and acts of worship.

Say this 3 times for 6 hours worth of reward: سُبْحـانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْـدِهِ عَدَدَ خَلْـقِه ، وَرِضـا نَفْسِـه ، وَزِنَـةَ عَـرْشِـه ، وَمِـدادَ كَلِمـاتِـه Subhan-Allahi Wa bihamdihi, ‘adada khalqihi, wa rida-a nafsihi, wa zinata ‘arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi (Glory and praise be to Allah, as many times as the number of His creatures, in accordance with His Good Pleasure, as much as the weight of His Throne, equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words (for His Praise).” (Muslim) 2. It was narrated that Abu Umaamah said: “The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death.” (An Nasa’I and Ibn Hibban) 3. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet ﷺ (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He who says, سُبْحـانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْـدِهِ ‘Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi‘ (Glory and praise be to Allah) one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the sea. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) 4. Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:“There are two statements that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scales, and beloved to the Most Merciful: سُبحَانَ اللّهِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ ، سُبحَانَ اللّهِ الْعَظِيم Subahana Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhana Allahi Al-`Atheem (Glory and praise be to Allah, Glorified is Allah, the Most Great.)” (Al-Bukhari) 5. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: He who repeats after every prayer: سبحان الله Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) thirty-three times, الحمدلله Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) thirty-three times, لله اكبر Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest) thirty-three times; And completes the hundred with: لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ‏ La ilaha illallah, Wahdahu la sharika lahu, Lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, Wa Huwa `ala kulli shai’in qadir (There is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, And He is Omnipotent) Will have all his sins pardoned Even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea.” (Muslim) 6. Zaid ibn Harithah narrated that the Prophet ﷺ(peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whosoever says: أسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ الَّذِي لا إلَهَ إلا هُوَ الحَيُّ القَيُومُ وَأتُوبُ إلَيهِ ‘Astaghfirullaha al-`Atheem al-ladhi la ilaha illa howa Al-Hayy al-Qayyum wa atubu illayh (I ask forgiveness of Allah, the Magnificent, than Whom there is no deity, the Living, the Sustainer of existence, and I turn to Him in repentance,) his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield (while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah, which is a grave sin in Islam). (Abu Dawud and authenticated by Al-Albani) 7. Whoever reads Surah Ikhlas ten times, Allah will build a palace for him in Paradise. ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) exclaimed, “If that’s the case, then we will increase in our palaces!” The Prophet ﷺ (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) responded, “Allah is better and greater (in reward).” (Ahmad) 8. Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on Friday, it will act as a light/protection for him from one Friday to the next. (Bayhaqi) 9. Whoever performs their ablution carefully and then affirms (their faith by testifying): أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنْ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ “Ash-hadu an laa ilaha il Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasuluhu; Allahumma-ja’lni min at-tawaabeen waj-a’lni min al-mutatahireen”: ‘I testify that there is no true deity except Allah Alone, Who has no partners, and that Muhammad ﷺ is His slave and Messenger; O Allah, make me from those who repent and purify themselves’ - the eight gates of Jannah are opened for him so he may enter through whichever of these gates he desires. (Tirmidhi) 10. Allah has promised whoever says: رضيت بالله ربا وبالاسلام دينا وبمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم نبيا “Radeetu billahi Rabba, wa bil Islaami Deena, wa bi Muhammad Nabiyya” ‘I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, And with Islam as my Religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet,’ Three times every morning or evening, Will be pleased on the day of resurrection (Ahmad) 12. Whoever is easy-going, gentle and kind, Allah will make the fire forbidden for him. (Hakim) 13. In Paradise there are rooms whose outside can be seen from the inside and the inside can be seen from the outside. Allah has prepared them for those who feed the poor, who are gentle in speech, who fast regularly and who pray at night when (other) people are asleep. (Ahmad) 14. Narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There is a soorah of the Qur’an, with thirty verses, that interceded for a man until he was forgiven; it is ‘Soorah Tabaarak Alladhi bi yadihi’l-mulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion)’ (al-Mulk 67:1).” (Tirmidhi & Abu Dawud)

Taqwa is to stay happy and smiling, knowing that this world is a prison for believers… Taqwa is the good manners and character we practice for the sake of Allah… Taqwa is the struggle to better ourselves according to Islam, with each passing day… Taqwa is not just about rising in deen, but about falling, rising again and never letting go! Taqwa is all about what is IN OUR HEARTS. And if our hearts are filled with proper *Taqwa*, then actions automatically follow… And the sweetness of these actions is so fulfilling! He claimed he didn't know but he went to other similar events, his Yaqeen institute openly writes pro lgbt articles, and he even joined events where a Christian pro-lgbt priest that he personally recommended as a nice example to follow and he was standing next to them while they were praying. Also, as far as I know, he never gave any apology and only stated that he did not know it was "a pagan ritual", but he never denied his support for lgbt. Both of them have been showing support for Ilhan Omar who openly supports LGBT, joins their parades taking pictures with queers and dancing with them and they're all part of the same group of Fussaq. Now YQ's turn. Besides his lgbt support and his stupid logic of how Muslims need to support them get rights so that they can also get rights, he has been caught in many controversies and he almost never admitted his mistakes because he is an arrogant man who thinks he knows better than others. Because of him, a lot of people are going around using his stupid baseless statement "holes in the narrative" to attack the Quran when he never even made it clear what he meant by that. He had a very misleading class where he was claiming to have found some dangerous truths (First, notice the level of arrogance.) that will confuse Muslims and he didn't even explain what (creating by that even more confusion) and he was caught once quoting from Shii sources in a talk where he claimed that he will specifically use Sunni sources only, that he doesn't have time to give the references and that the public will have to trust him and take what he has to say. Just because these 2 are good speakers and know how to tell stories and give talks does not mean anything. The Dajjal will also be a good speaker and will convince people by his talk. Remember the hadith where the prophet said he fears for his Umma from scholars that will misguide them. Until they both retract their pro lgbt statement and clearly define what their position is, they should be boycotted by the Muslim community. So far, they only claimed to be falsely accused and did not clearly state that they were against it.

﴿١﴾ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ 1  In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful. ﴿٢﴾ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ 2  Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. ﴿٢﴾ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ 2  Allah. There is no god but He-the Living, the Eternal. ﴿١١١﴾ وَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ ۖ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًا 111  And say, “Praise be to Allah, who has not begotten a child, nor has He a partner in sovereignty, nor has He an ally out of weakness, and proclaim His Greatness!” ﴿٥٩﴾ إِنَّ مَثَلَ عِيسَىٰ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ آدَمَ ۖ خَلَقَهُ مِنْ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ 59  The example of Jesus with Allah is like Adam: He created him from dust, then He said to him, “Be!” and he was. ﴿٣٦﴾ وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَسُولًا أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاجْتَنِبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ هَدَى اللَّهُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الضَّلَالَةُ ۚ فَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ 36  We sent a messenger to every community: “Worship Allah, and avoid idolatry.” Some of them Allah guided, while others deserved misguidance. So travel through the earth, and see what the fate of the deniers was. ﴿١﴾ الر ۚ كِتَابٌ أُحْكِمَتْ آيَاتُهُ ثُمَّ فُصِّلَتْ مِنْ لَدُنْ حَكِيمٍ خَبِيرٍ 1  Alif. Lam. Ra. A Scripture whose Verses were perfected, then explained. From the presence of One Wise and Aware. ﴿٢﴾ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّنِي لَكُمْ مِنْهُ نَذِيرٌ وَبَشِيرٌ 2  That you shall worship none but Allah. “I am a warner to you from Him, and a deliverer of good news.” ﴿٣﴾ وَأَنِ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُوا إِلَيْهِ يُمَتِّعْكُمْ مَتَاعًا حَسَنًا إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى وَيُؤْتِ كُلَّ ذِي فَضْلٍ فَضْلَهُ ۖ وَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ كَبِيرٍ 3  “And seek forgiveness from your Lord, and turn to Him in repentance. He will grant you a good provision for a stated term, and He will bestow His grace on every possessor of virtue. But if you turn away: then I fear for you the punishment of a formidable Day.” ﴿٤﴾ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ 4  “To Allah is your return, and He is capable of everything.” ﴿٤٩﴾ نَبِّئْ عِبَادِي أَنِّي أَنَا الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ 49  Inform My worshipers that I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. ﴿٥٠﴾ وَأَنَّ عَذَابِي هُوَ الْعَذَابُ الْأَلِيمُ 50  And that My punishment is the painful punishment. ﴿٨٠﴾ وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ أَتَأْتُونَ الْفَاحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُمْ بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنَ الْعَالَمِينَ 80  And Lot, when he said to his people, “Do you commit lewdness no people anywhere have ever committed before you?” ﴿٨١﴾ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِنْ دُونِ النِّسَاءِ ۚ بَلْ أَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُسْرِفُونَ 81  “You lust after men rather than women. You are excessive people.” ﴿٨٢﴾ وَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا أَخْرِجُوهُمْ مِنْ قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ 82  But his people's only response was to say, “Expel them from your town; they are purist people.” ﴿٨٣﴾ فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ 83  So We saved him and his family, except for his wife; she was among those who lagged behind. ﴿٨٤﴾ وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَطَرًا ۖ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ 84  And We rained down on them a rain. So note the consequences for the guilty. ﴿٧٤﴾ إِنَّهُ مَنْ يَأْتِ رَبَّهُ مُجْرِمًا فَإِنَّ لَهُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ 74  Whoever comes to his Lord guilty, for him is Hell, where he neither dies nor lives. ﴿٧٥﴾ وَمَنْ يَأْتِهِ مُؤْمِنًا قَدْ عَمِلَ الصَّالِحَاتِ فَأُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمُ الدَّرَجَاتُ الْعُلَىٰ 75  But whoever comes to Him as a believer, having worked righteousness, theirs will be the highest ranks. ﴿٧٦﴾ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَاءُ مَنْ تَزَكَّىٰ 76  The Gardens of Eden, under which rivers flow, where they will stay forever. That is the reward for whoever purifies himself. ﴿٢٢٢﴾ وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْمَحِيضِ ۖ قُلْ هُوَ أَذًى فَاعْتَزِلُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي الْمَحِيضِ ۖ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوهُنَّ حَتَّىٰ يَطْهُرْنَ ۖ فَإِذَا تَطَهَّرْنَ فَأْتُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرَكُمُ اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِينَ وَيُحِبُّ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ 222  And they ask you about menstruation: say, “It is harmful, so stay away from women during menstruation. And do not approach them until they have become pure. Once they have become pure, approach them in the manner Allah has directed you.” Allah loves the repentant, and He loves those who keep clean.” ﴿٦٨﴾ وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُونَ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا يَزْنُونَ ۚ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًا 68  And those who do not implore besides Allah any other god, and do not kill the soul which Allah has made sacred-except in the pursuit of justice-and do not commit adultery. Whoever does that will face penalties. ﴿٦٩﴾ يُضَاعَفْ لَهُ الْعَذَابُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيَخْلُدْ فِيهِ مُهَانًا 69  The punishment will be multiplied for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will remain in it forever, humiliated. ﴿٧٠﴾ إِلَّا مَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا فَأُولَٰئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ اللَّهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ حَسَنَاتٍ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا 70  Except for those who repent, and believe, and perform righteous deeds. These-Allah will replace their bad deeds with good deeds. Allah is ever Forgiving, Most Merciful. ﴿٧١﴾ وَمَنْ تَابَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَإِنَّهُ يَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَتَابًا 71  Whoever repents and acts righteously-has returned to Allah in repentance. ﴿٩٠﴾ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالْأَنْصَابُ وَالْأَزْلَامُ رِجْسٌ مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ 90  O you who believe! Intoxicants, gambling, idolatry, and fortune-telling are abominations of Satan’s doing. So avoid them, so you may succeed. ﴿٩١﴾ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَنْ يُوقِعَ بَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ فِي الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ وَيَصُدَّكُمْ عَنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَعَنِ الصَّلَاةِ ۖ فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُنْتَهُونَ 91  Satan only desires to provoke enmity and hatred among you through intoxicants and gambling, and to deter you from the remembrance of Allah, and from prayer. Will you not give them up? ﴿٩٢﴾ وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَاحْذَرُوا ۚ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا عَلَىٰ رَسُولِنَا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ 92  Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and be careful. If you turn away: know that Our Messenger’s duty is clear communication. Read The Quran

Rasulullah pernah bersabda: "Tidak ada hari dimana Allah membebaskan hamba dari neraka lebih banyak daripada Hari Arafah, dan sungguh Dia mendekat lalu membanggakan mereka di depan para Malaikat dan berkata: ‘Apa yang mereka inginkan?" (HR Muslim).

The prophet used to speak to others in a way they would understand and he would meet them at their level. Even tho we are all believers, everyone still interprets everything differently. Instead of saying things loudly, we should say them calmly and in a way that makes others feel welcome. The OP meant no disrespect whatsoever while speaking. It would be a shame to think that about a fellow believer so we should be careful about how we phrase things. The first ten days are actually nine days with the addition of the day of Eid. It is called the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, but only nine of it is for fasting as the tenth day is the beginning of Eid. It is impermissible to fast on the day of Eid.
