Diablo 2 Max damage Barb build - HD 29K WW Dmg. Ladder!

Hi guys,
-Up to 33K damage with might from merc and 26K Defense with frozen armor from Forty.
-This is NOT a build for pvp, tanking or for doing ubers.
-You can really do everything else with this build (Chaos, Baal, Worldstone.....).
-This build called Titan is by far the most fun build and the most rare seen build.
-Still looking for flawless items tho, its not perfect. Need more 32020 ;) Hard to find!

@donperm if you haven't figured it out within the 3 weeks your comment was made, basically 3-20-20 are a type of small charm whirlwind barbarians want. the 3-20 means +3 to maximum damage, +20 to attack rating. The other 20 means +20 to life. So the full charm is +3 maximum damage, +20 to attack rating, +20 to life. These charms are considered godly amongst meleers, particularly the whirlwind barbarian which is what this guy is.

D3 was the first Diablo game I've completed coz I just played bits of D1 and D2 as a kid coz I was so scared but liked it. Now I'm playing D2 because I'm scared of how horrible D4 and so on will be after witnessing D3's failure...Even with the ROS expansion, it's all about stacking more health to artificially make the game harder...

Gamermann yea, that’s one of the problems with this game IMO. Endgame Hammerdin or javazon are sooo OP, there’s really no point chasing power out of other chars. Sad really cuz barbs are fun, just super weak in an 8p game

I started to play the other day and even though I haven't had much time to play I've been finding it incredibly hard to stay alive in the early stages of the game. I honestly don't know how I'm going to get myself to level 30 so I can start whirlwinding, I would use vita charms but I'm not finding many of those and life leach is a bad joke at this point. Any tips or ideas (I'm playing non ladder, single player if that makes any difference)?

war pike is not the best option for ebotd on barb, great poleaxe is far better since it reaches the last whirlwind breakpoint, thus dealing more DPS. this build is also lacking CB and DS, laying of hands is a better glove option for pvm, and dream on helm is pretty useless without a dream shield to go with. also lol at the poison charms put there just to pump up the lying character screen damage. this guy surely is fun to play and deals a lot of damage, but he'll never be as effective as a dual grief WWer with the right amount of CB and DS.

That is why I use Ghost Spear. It has the same range, 40 ias more which makes for the less damage. Moreover, it look much cooler :)

Well he should use EBOTD TM for maximum use of the strength he pumps in. Hammers recieve a huge bonus per str point! A better substitution to this would be 2x grief berserkers - more average damage - but you gotta repair all the time

long time since this was posted but you can get way more dps with max damage charms, also thunder maul would have higher damage numbers due to being a bit higher on average damage per swing, as for the brakepoints Im not sure if you´re at 6 here or 8. But nedless to stay still an impressive feat of having that high damage just kinda cheating with poison charms

All the charms with poison damage kind of rig your damage a bit. It would be 1 to 2k lower without them. Nice build, still =)

@slayer94QC Actually ebotdgp is nice in pvm because of its massive range. Although x2 grief pb would do more damage, it has much less range so you are hitting less of the screen while with ebotdgp you hit most monsters on screen. Personally I would choose ebotdgp over x2 grief pb for pvm but pvp I would choose griefz+beastz

It's cool, but i think it will be better if you use a heavier armor to make your RW Fortitude, cuz when you use WW,the less fast run/walk will make more hits...and Raven Frost is not needed for the same raison

Unfortunately, you went with war pike instead of great poleaxe. GPA hits the fastest breakpoint for ww so you do more damage overall than with war pike. Otherwise, its a great build (i made a similar titan barb) and pretty much rips through anything, even in 8-player. I never thought of using dream, I might have to try that someday.

For showcase of the build you should go up than hell 1 players difficulty. In fact, almost any build will look pretty insane at hell players 1. Even a sorc with nova will looks very bad ass and even more because of the clearing speed she will have compare to that build. There is no challenge there, pretty sure you can afk and stay alive.

Your bottom left charm does 100 poison of 5 secs and the one next to it does 175 over 6. Poison Damage does not stack.

you need pluggy if you play Singleplayer to make it all work. You mightaswell play one of the great Mods for Diablo2 when you're at SP anyways. there are many great, some that come to mind: snej, medianxl, eastern sun, pdm,.. the Original Game is awesome for competition in Battle.net (or was before only bots), for Singleplayer there is better fun in mods IMHO, cause the vanilla game isn't balanced around single Player.

You can do with one 2H Weapon, just the War Pike is pretty bad for it, there are a few 1k 2h Weapons that can reach max WW speed. The Warpike is too slow, WW ist speed driven.

You're not using WW right. You have to move in a circle around your enemy so that they get hit with every strike. Going through them actually causes you to miss the full damage. Well, its more like a square motion you're doing around the edge of the enemy.

That looks pretty bad WW Barb tbh :) IIRC I could kill mobs much faster with my last LoD WW barb who wield a rare Colossus Sword (600dmg 40ias + shael for reaching breakpoint). I had pretty much 0 runewords on the guy. Arkaines Valor, Arreat Face and so on. Wanted to make a bit oldschool WW Barb.

The spear's slow attack speed is the limiting factor. With the right build, it's the highest melee dps weapon in the game.

+Ngọc Long Vũ Single Player mode is (imo) punished a lot, compared to multiplayer a) you can't trade stuff from one character to another. In multiplayer they often trade/exchange one item against another. b) you can't get the most powerful and useful runewords in singleplayer. they work in multi-player (closed battle.net) only c) he was playing alone. if he played with 7 other players, a lot more items drop. in singleplayer however you can press enter ingame and write /players=8, thus simulate 8 players while playing alone. Though the monster are then a lot harder to kill, they then drop as many items as in 8 player multiplayer game d) many do lots of Mephisto runs to get items which they use or trade. You can do this in singleplayer too. Just kill Mephisto in 8 player setting a few hundred times and you can be sure to get several unique items and high runes. Having a character with many Magic Find items helps too. So you increase your chance in getting better items. Then use one char (e.g. sorceress) with many MF items to collect them and transfer them then to other chars. Transferring items from one char to another in singleplayer is afaik only possible with editors like ATMA V (or you create your own little network at home with 2 computers/virtual machines, but that's very inconvenient to do).
