Megagig Congratrulations man. Concise guide, yet very informative! Can't get my second bulkathos sword.. got the istvan set (both drops) at the rirst gr 20 clear! 1 ancient little rogue. However I feel a bit wonky and slow. What about the istvan armor bonus vs. Bulkathos, does that make up for anything significant?

Nah that armor bonus doesn't make a huge difference, especially when you consider the sustain bonus from attack speed with bulkathos, and the move speed added in too. Since bulkathos got buffed, there's no reason to use Istvan's set for ww imo. Istvan's set is great for HOTA build though.

Will be running Crusader at start (makes more sense for de DB farm) and alt a Barbarian this season, not yet decided if I will also try other classes. Probably the last season I will play, and might even quit after I get Guardian status. But anyway, have at least 2 builds for Crusader and Barbarian planned out that differ from what people consider will be meta for 2.6.1, but revolve around the same builds.

Hey I have a question, I seem to be struggling to get past GR 82. The rift guardian simply oneshots me and I do very little dmg to everything. Do you know if the issue is in my build or i just need to get better at the game? eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/SerOleg-2874/hero/104279438

The main reason you're getting one shotted is probably because you your HP. By the time you hit GR80+ it's good to get 1 million or more hp. Invest some paragon points in that. Also to help with damage, make these changes for starters and let me know how it goes. Change wep master passive to brawler, animosity to relentless, and get a hellfire amulet with beserker rage. Doesn't necessarily have to be that but get your 5 passives to be relentless, rampage, boon of bulkathos, berserker rage, brawler. So you need a hellfire with one of those, then set the other 4 in skills. You should still do okay on fury in most fights because taking damage should generate the little bit you lose. If you find yourself always running out, switch brawler back to wep master till you hit GR90+, then switch back to brawler. Don't allocate any para points to fury or movespeed, go vit till you have 1mil+ hp then go strength. Switch ground stomp to threatening shout demoralize. It's a taunt so it pulls enemies slower but it doesn't take you out of WW. Also keep a lookout for an oculus ring for your follower. Try those things and let me know how it goes :)

Nah you don't really need Nerves of steel. As for the augment guide, do you mean how to augment? That hasn't really changed.

Hey dude is the cooldown reduction really that important? Or should I stick with with attackspeed on both weapons? And what about flat dmg? CDR>AS>%Dmg is this true?

CD is important to a point. You only need so much depending on mobs and such. 40% is a good number to shoot for. In really high GR Dmg>AS>CDR. Dmg% adds a ton more damage to whatever element if you're running COE. AS gives you more CD through Zodiac with more density in which you usually have in higher GR's. AS isn't that important compared to the other two, especially if you're running PE.

I used to run with pain enhancer but changed it for gogok of swiftness and even with my ancient belt with a 4seconds roll on it, I never run out of ignore pain nor berserk. I stopped using ruthless and went back to weapon master. Always at 100% resource. Might give ruthless a try again to kill GR guardians a little bit faster tho.

Those are fine but they'll limit your damage. Remember ruthless is a separate multiplier so that's a lot of extra damage. In higher density GR's, swiftness falls off very fast. Those are fine for farming and doing mid tier GR's but you probably won't be pushing the limit with them.

Just got myself a primal ancient bk, with weapon damage of 2700+ and perfect stats for str, area, cdr. Right now my overall stats have 50+ cdr, 90-95% area, 35~ crit chance. Would you recommend I reroll any of the stats on my primal ancient bk? I feel like I may be a little low on weapon damage or even overall area damage (90% good?). I can link you my profile if it’ll be any help. Ps I’m not using boon of bk passive and I can keep up perma wotb when doing greater rifts 80+

50% cdr is probably more than you need. I'd try and roll that off for more damage. 40-45% is a good cdr for this build. My area damage is around 115% I think and I'd like it higher. It's free extra damage :)

Megagig thanks for your input! I tested the two (10% cdr vs 10% damage) on gr87 and was able to get through relatively decently with only one death each (mostly due to my mouse malfunctioning ending my ww and makes me stand still). It all came down to whether I want relatively perma Wotb or a little more damage with wotb up around 70-80% of the time. I’ll keep testing, thanks :) Ps are you gonna be posting any new ww barb videos?

As you push higher and density gets thicker, and it also takes you longer to kill the mobs, you'll still end up with WOTB up 100% of the time, at least in fights. It might drop in low density for a few seconds but overall it's generally worth the damage.

@@megagig5501 is there really a way to push 85+ with this build without high paragon? I have solid build but 85+ is pain in the ass because of instant dying from everything (with ignore pain always active) for example my HotA IK build can do 95, even fury charge can do 90

i notice when standing still, your fury is regenerating, im playing a barb for the first time, and my fury goes down unless im attacking stuff then it will go up if im attacking enough mobs/taking damage. as a result i cant speed run anything because if its taking less than 5 ticks to kill mobs im not keeping enough fury to keep WW up and as a result, i need to take a generator and top my self off in either low density packs, or speed runs

The swords generate fury when you have the set. 0:37 Keep at it. It just takes time farming to get the gear and levels for skills/para points.

@@megagig5501 just had both swords drop at the same time, i knew that i needed the swords, i thought the fury generation was on hit though, clearly its not and i just bounced 25 grift lvls getting these 2 weapons, 1 of them ancient. ty for the reply, alot of people dont reply on old vids too much, ive subbed :)

I know this is an older video but I'm a newish D3 player and trying this build out. I'm ~700 paragon with only a few ancients (weapons are ancient) and I'm struggling a bit to get above GR70. I'm dealing plenty of damage but my survivability is terrible. Hellfire neck has 17k life per hit, both weapons have ~1200 life per hit. Maybe I need to equip an Etlitch Eye? Any other suggestions I might be missing? (Absolut, seasonal character)

This video is current for the patch, not really old :P. What rune are you using on WW? What rune are you using on Ignore pain? Are you able to keep Ignore pain up 100% of the time? Those are the first few things that come to mind. That and what's your toughness rating and how much HP do you have? Link me your profile if you like and I can check it out.

Much less damage, slower. Managed to do a 78 with some difficulty. I can keep Ignore pain up 98% of the time, Wrath up 75%. Toughness 40m standing still unbuffed. WW- wind shear, Ignore pain - ignorance is bliss. Appreciate the tips and I enjoy your channel!

You need to dump ww windshear rune for blood funnel. For GR runs taking damage should net you the bit of fury you lose from ww. I'd also work on getting a hellfire amulet with one of the passives I've got listed for the build. You don't need nerves of steel. Instead I'd go for brawler for more damage. I've got boon of bulkathos on my amulet because I know I'll always use that. I know it's hard to get a specific passive but I'd try for bulkathos, rampage, or ruthless because you use those on pretty much every barb build. Then use brawler and if for some reason you can't sustain fury, switch brawler to wep master. Also I'd switch Threatening shout to demoralize to help group enemies up. You'll sustain a TON better once you switch to blood funnel rune on ww. Also drop that eso for Taeguk. Taeguk is HUGE damage boost and gives you some toughness as well. So My taeguk is rank 102 and that's 60% more damage. I think level 70 it's around 45-50%. So taeguk and brawler are two damage multipliers you're missing out on. At you're level you should be able to do 80+ at least. Let me know how it goes. Here's my profile if you want to look at it. Also running blood funnel rune means you get dump a lot of the life per hit for crit chance or crit damage. Also roll off life per fury spent on your second wep for area damage. I'd probably also roll that 10% damage on your other wep for area damage or vitality if you're lacking. 1mil should be enough for high 80's though. What is your cooldown% in game?
