I've gotten ancients like that already. ^^ but yeha expensive ^^ guess that's why I'm dry on mats all time ^^ yeha gr's have better layout, but still we need keys for m nephs to do Gr's, cna't jsut spam them infinitely. ^^ I hate nephs and lootbombardement - gr's are fun and btw I'm totla diablo3 newbie. ^^ yeah I need 5-8 mins for gr's the ones challenging to me ( at 69 atm), but I'll do 70 at least, just to be abel to gambelfor primals in cube ^^ =P - already got the sweping wind wepa and kyshoris' blade on my monk as ancients and ofc i missforged them a bit "LAWLS" but they got ramas' gift sockets and are nice nad magemonks' are boring sriracha facediving combat monk is mroe to my lking (us.diablo3.com/en/blog/18382013), also if that means not using tzo's and almost sruggling in 30-40Gr levels' lower then what proper ranged magemonk hellbell build cna do without being in the thick of things aka taking the dmg, it's also a bit about fun - ya know ?

u didnt talk in t13 its really important to have aoe dmg to clear some of the trash mob if you only kills the elites and dont open up the chest you’ll only get 50% of what u could get if your farming it for leg / mats if its for the grkey its another story

Since you didn't mention it in the video and in case anyone isn't aware of (Probably everybody knows it by now but whatever^^). -> You need to complete at least a GR70 before you get a chance of dropping any primal Items. - Besides that, great Vid as always Bludd. Keep it up :)

Makes a great point about having to make augment throw away leveled gems. My lod wave of light build has all the gear, but only has one or two trash ancients. But she can trash a gr 75 in about 4 minutes.might as well level those gems while while spamming gr's. This'll give me mats, chances at ancients, and blood shards to gamble for ancients and gear for other builds.

How about a video discussing which gear to prioritize getting upgraded first, for example, a list of 1 to 10 starting with weapon first, rings or gloves next, etc. Also would be interested in your thoughts on what level to start augments, which gear, replacements, so on.

Ye I think thats about one of the only items in the game where its better. Maybe Also the Tra'gouls Main hand for necro but even that is already 1/4 chance. So yea. Yang's for example is like one in 9 chance so it takes way longer for that.

Reforging is a good way when you need an item with specific stats ( like Akkhan Amulet - with holy dmg, chc, chd stat which is very rare to drop even if you grind more than 100 keys a day ) Grinding Gr for 3 or 4 hours never guarantee you will got that item with those stats, but more than 200 bounties mats - which took the same time to farm - will give you a good result.

I'm not sure yet if this makes a big difference when trying to get primals as I've only had 2 so far in the 2 days I have been trying it. What I'm doing is salvaging all items that don't go with my set before I use book of Cain. My idea behind this is that you focus your chance of ancient or primal roles on the gear you use instead of items you don't. I don't use any matts to roll in cube because let's face it.. it's a waste. But

I have noticed running normal 13 rifts with someone tends to drop a lot more legendary items might just be my rng luck but that's my experience

I am enjoying D3 so far. It isn't as good feeling as playing D2 back in 1.09, 1.10 but that was a pretty special moment in gaming honestly. This team has done a good job and I find the gameplay engaging and varied. I bought the cash grubbing necromancer but resent their BS compared to how they used to treat players in terms of after market support for their games.

Thanks, Bluddshed. Love these types of videos. Unfortunately, I lost my D3 running mate to ARK TLC update which dropped basically day after Season 13. As a result, I am a quite a bit under-leveled and geared for this point in the season. But this kind of guide and discussion can help me maximize my time so I can get those Ancients and maybe Primals to start kicking down. Now that I finally got a Dawn, I can really unlock the DH.

In the patch notes, I believe it says ya gotta do and complete a GR 70 "solo" for Primals to start dropping.

Just forgot to say (I think) that you gotta finish a 70 solo. If you do it season reg and then you roll hardcore season, gotta do it again. It does carry to you toon transferring from season to non season once the season ends. But good stuff.

Say you get a primal or ancient but like 2 of the rolls on the gear aren’t optimal do you have to keep reforging since you can only re-roll one stat? Also if you reforge a primal or ancient is there a chance it will go back down to a normal legendary?

I apologize, I'm a bit of a noob, and I can't find any other info on this on Reddit or anywhere else. You mentioned you can't get bounty materials after a certain point. What's the stopping point for bounty materials, and is that per character or per account each season? Is that still a thing in Season 16?

Reforging Karlei is useless given the fact that there is so few daggers in the game. With the amount of materials you have, just upgrade rares to legendaries and tadaa. In no time you have a ancient Karlei.

Up to you. Just do some simple maths like add the items you need for the cube up and times by 100 and add a amount on to that as your safe mark, like 500 of each.

No, the higher rift, more stuff. GR5 will not give you legendaries. Best level for farming is GR80-85. I do it in 3,5-4mins. But primal drop rate is crap. I play with my friend, he got in 2 days 5 primals, I didnt get primals in months. Drop rate in game is crap. I started season with monk no antient amulet, no antient focus or restriant,. Same with my non seasonal monk. Items you need dont drop. Neither in cube, kadala. I got about 30 primals of which of them I got 3 usable for necro, 1 for follower. Rest is just crap.

This might be just BS but works for me. If I’m upgrading rares and getting a set of 3-4 same items. I’ll close the game and restart and then I get different times. Might reset the loot table.

Paul L yea that’s how most of the top guys get their primals on console early. Just burn out mats then sign out and boom. Mats back and trash item. Rinse and repeat with other items till you get what you want.

I wish they somehow made bounties worth it to do solo. Imagine if you got mats dependant on how many of the bounties YOU did. So if you 4 splits where everyone does X bounties each, bountymats would be divided on 4. Whereas, if you'd do them all yourself, you'd get all the mats. I hate *having* to search for a split group. Sometimes, I just wanna chill in windowed mode while watching TV-series and solo-farm.

dude, let me tell you. That dagger is one of the few items you should never reforge. why? because by upgrading a rare dagger to legendary you can get only 1 of 2 results. And one of them is this dagger. (only 2 daggers can be acquired by upgrading a rare item). So... NEVER REFORGE DA DAGGA. Use it to reforge a yang so you can farm 105 or lower faster.

You say don't spend to much time doing bounties yet seasons go for a long time, you'd have plenty of time to do bounties in a season and still grind rifts.
