UPDATE: Season 21, Diablo 3 2.6.9 current.
This Diablo 3 patch 2.6.1 barbarian Raekor Hammer of the Ancients build can push at least GR 120. Also includes a starter version with no items to farm up the Raeko starter set with Haedrig's Gift for upcoming season 14. Gameplay shown in video.

This is definitely the most fun barbarian build and one of the most fun in the game. You charge in with a big hammer, smash it on the ground and everything explodes. THATS what you expect from a barbarian:) It's such a shame you can't transmogrify little rogue and slanderer into Immortal King's Boulder Breaker or the Gavel of Judgment cuz these are kind of the signature weapons when you think of HOTA

I really like this build with Seismic slam too, drop aquila for mortik's brace, use a meserschmidt's hammer for weapon, and put the seismic slam weapon in cube. It has a much larger aoe so it can be better for clearing. (I use the "consume all fury" rune)

I know you love Diablo 3 and want to make content about it - and don't get me wrong, you're one of the best if not the best D3 content creator... but at this point we all gotta agree that there's nothing more to milk from it. Just me personally, I honestly don't feel the taunt is all that necessary after playing this build for a bit. Monsters naturally pile up on you anyway (and the taunt radius sucks). I go boss to boss to boss and prefer it if not everything is focused/chasing me.

I really wish they would be some gr pushing shifts on necro leaderboards. I dont like current pushing build. I really enjoy playing necro but this gr build feels so lame, you have enormous dmg for only 10 sec, then running around trying to not die.

so in order to play a barb at its best I got to pick between 2 abilitys hump charge or use a yo yo whirlwind around the map, don't get me wrong if ww was like diablo 2 ww I would like it a lot, but that ends it for me using a barb in d3

I just got really lucky and dropped a primal traveler's pledge for this build. It has Physical skill 20% Strength +1000 Crit Damage +100% Should i be rolling the physical to fire, or the strength to crit chance? Thanks for the great content, it's really helped me get back into this game.

Hey! Congrats on your primal! Roll the Physical skill to Crit Chance 10%. if you can't roll Fire elemental, then you can have strength or average damage. But Crit Hit Chance 10% is a must, and so is Crit Hit Damage 100%.

it's more powerful than my wrath of the wastes build but it's also incredibly difficult to master. You have to keep an eye on too many things and if you're even a bit tired you're gonna play it badly. My WW barbarian got up to GR88 and this seems stuck at 93.

WW build that makes it to 88.. Yoh👍 I use my WW to speed farm 65 in 2mins. Have a hota ik build and a hota raekor I just built. I am also struggling to crack the 100 solo with 900 paragon levels. Perhaps the choice of mobs to engage makes all the difference like the other comment mentions..

Both are great builds; Raekor is more difficult to play, but is stronger. IK is easier to play, but weaker.

Can’t cube Galve of Judgment... it simply won’t appear as an option for extracting the legendary power. I’m doing it as a barbarian so it should be possible.... any thoughts?
