The reason having more damage is better now that the patch is out is so you can do higher mp levels in the same amount of speed that you do mp0. For instance if the mobs health increase by 100% and do you 100% more damage now, then you can do mp1 and get more benefits at the same rate.

It all depends on what your spec is. Kripp's build is based off rend. Attack speed doesn't increase the rend dot. Loh isn't effected either.. He explained why Dex's dodge isn't as important to him. It's not like he is just getting rid of the added defense, he is just getting it from a different source.

Totally agree with you on this Kripp. Not enough people pay attention to what actually increases there damage or makes them more efficient a good example is mentioning Sharp Shooter as a dps upgrade or worthy use of a passive in some situations the Lemmings will go nuts.

i'm a kripp fan, i started out watching D3 and playing it like everyone else here, but like some of the other fans i have moved on from d3 due to it's lack of re-playability. I am still subscribed to kripp because i like the content in wow and gw2 that he is putting out and i check on d3 for one single glare of hope, ladder.

Finally a known player pointing out what Ive been saying all along. Too many DHs stack ias to hit high fake dps ranges, despite using cluster arrow and spiketraps, of which neither benefits from ias.

I'm so for it. But judging from his previous poe closed beta streams, he said he will propably play poe once it hits open beta. So it's not that unlikely that several guide videos will happen. I really hope he does it, even just to raise some more attention to the game bc it's so well designed and a must play for any arpg addict.

It said it the article about monster power on Blizzard's website that the patch applies the monster level rules equally across all acts of inferno and that MP1 or higher makes all monster's 63... I guess it's possible that they said one thing and did another.

krip, doesn't attack speed affects how fast you actually finish rend animation? it looks to me that when i use 2x 1h weapons, rend goes off faster than when i use 2h, also what affects how fast you get from the dodge animation? usually its the dodging what kills me, i do 3-5 dodges in row, its like 0.5-1s stun while 10 mobs hitting me and cant cast anything... stupid as hell, interresting thing is that in insanity, i don't do that animation even thought i dodge more :P

No. All monsters in A3-4 are level 63 even on MP0. Monsters in A1 are level 61 and monsters in A2 are level 62. They didn't change this.

No. They flattened the monster level. You actually have a ~16% chance of lvl 63 monsters anywhere in inferno on MP0. MP1 makes it 100% chance.
