I was farming the Falcon wings in Act IV Garden of Hope where I killed my very first rainbow goblin. Not sure on how often it spawns there just wanted to inform everyone that it can spawn there.

Personally, I've found it's faster to just do Pandemonium Level 1 with a lot of quitting & reloading. Load the game, go into the level, and spend maybe 30 seconds max exploring the map. In that level, goblins always spawn in pairs so if you hear 1 laughing, you know there's another one somewhere in the level. If you don't find any after about 30 seconds, quit, reload, rinse & repeat.

After hours and hours of running through the game with no luck, Pandemonium included, I saw your comment and thought I'd give it a go. The very first time there and I see a rainbow goblin! Got the portal... and then lost connection twenty seconds in! Damn it! But your way is the only way I've got results in a solo game. Now I just have to get him again, lol.

My advice is take it slow. The story, lore, atmosphere, first play through in any blizzard game is a really good and immersing experience. Don't rush to the end-game content just yet.

the map to get to the butcher spawns Rainbow goblins , I run that map a lot leveling up. I used to never go in to whimsydale, was never worth it . But seeing the huge update to loot , i'll be going lol

This video is completely wrong. Goblins can spawn anywhere outside of rifts and each goblin has a chance to be a rainbow goblin

When you found the goblin in cave lvl 2 you kept exploring. There can be only one goblin spawn per level in the cave so 1 on level 1 and 1 on level 2. To be more efficient you should have left after killing the gelatinous spire

Ive found 3 or 4 within the past few days in some of the most random locations. One almost right outside city in act 3 or 4

3.5%chance for rainbow goblin to spawn I found 2 in 4 hours -_- then the portal looking for Lillian eh? Well that beautiful creature has a 0.5% chance of spawning and well I believe this is pure luck so good luck all. An u people who got it first few tries go play the lottery an hmu 😁👍

Why search for goblins get plan for staff of herding and you can farm the mats then make and open goblin port as many times as you like

They might look the same, but only a Goblin portal takes you to whimsydale - the staff stakes you to whimsyshire. Princess Lillian only spawns in Whimseydale.

You do realize that goblins are R&G base and not one zone holds a higher percentage value than another. If the chance of finding a rainbow Goblin let's say is 1 and 10 out of the other goblins and the chance to find it in a zone is 1 and 100 let's say, that's going to be the same for every zone...

If I remember, I think it's like a 1-2% chance that any goblin is a rainbow goblin. Then it's another low-percent chance that the rare enemy with the wings will spawn in Whimsydale. So basically, stock up on Mountain Dew and don't expect to have any person-to-person interactions for a while.
