Diablo 3 HOW TO GET BUTCHER PET AND ROYAL CALF PET

This is a little video I made to help people get The Butcher pet as well as The Royal Calf pet from Diablo 3. Although this requires you to be in adventure mode, you do not have to have beaten the game in order to do it. All is explained in the video. Let me know if I missed out on anything.
SPECIAL NOTES: You cannot simply click on the cows in the correct order before getting the map. The portal will not appear (it didn't the few times I tried). So you must make Wirt's Leg, then salvage it

For all those wondering, This is still possible if the event still is showing on your battlenet dashboard when you click diablo 3 on the side bar. You have to be in adventure mode *as a seasonal character* in order for the the portal to show up. If you dont have a seasonal character for the current (12th) season, create a new character, make is seasonal on go hunting for that butcher pet!

I created a lvl 1 seasonnal character and i didn't kill any ennemies to stay on first level and i get killed. Do you have to stay on first level when you kill Diablo ? That's another youtuber showed in the video.

You have to be online and log into the account for seasonal character...offline will give you blue wirt leg and no map when salvage

OK, the cow pet was easy. And more focused on. Where/how do you get or find the butcher pet then?

+HvyMetal49 you need to create a level 1 character and have them go through the entire dungeon in one run alone. Once you defeat Diablo, you'll get the pet

ahh figured its fine farming the pets and wings is like crazy i farm all day on torment 5 on my ps4 it just seems like they nerfed getting pets and wings lol

+Jonny Snow ya it takes time. Most of the pets i got was just from farming other stuff. Just so happened to get a goblin at the same time. Good luck!

Jonny Snow I know a few areas that you can farm for cosmetic pets... what you're actually looking for is a certain Goblin troll thingy called Menagerist Goblin

+Lucyen Aerinsbrought it was on all consoles during the month of January/February for the anniversary event. It's no longer available as the event isn't happening anymore. Possibly next year they'll bring it back and you'll be able to access it again

You don't need to make a Seasonal character to start a 1st level character in Adventure mode. At least I didn't. I was able to get both pets with no problem.
