Gr90 is not the max loot drop FYI. 100 is the max. Just depends on how fast and quick you can be. If you can't finish a 100 in less than 3 min, 90 is better. But once you can, 100 is your better option. Also do 3 keys at a time and then check loot. It's 10x faster

FYI its actelly 99, as at only diferent from 99 to 100, is you get a little more blood shard

All. Because technically the item cap is actually reached at 100, not 99. Technically, if you run greater rift 99, you could actually be losing out on items. Because there’s no guarantee that you’ll reach the Maxximum loot drop.

I strongly disagree with this method, this is by far the worst way to farm primals. I once did 100 consecutive GR runs and got nothing. The best way is to farm nephalem rifts, you get blue goblins and chests and shrines and most importantly you don't need to farm keys anymore. There's some variety while GRs are extremely repetitive. I use GRs only for gem leveling and paragon, and I always have plenty keys to spare.

Ya GR90 HAS the potential to drop max loot but it's not guaranteed. For guaranteed max loot drops you need GR100

I don't know why everyone says 90. Unless you're farming matts along side of that. It's 100 for all 12 legendary items dropped.

It's not true that the lot caps-out at GR 90. I've found that at GR90, I'll get between 9-12 items (though, typically, 10-11); whereas with GR100, I'll get between 11-13 items (though, typically, 11-12, getting 12 the vast majority of the time). If you can, run GR100 not GR 90.

Been farming 100- 105 all week for at least 4 hrs a day optimal 1 min 45 sec max 2min 30 sec hundreds of hrs not one primal not counting the nephlem rifts to get the keys on t16 the pain is real smh

Three 90+ GRs in a row. Then identify, salvage and do bloodshards. Easily the fastest method. You might encounter the problem that you cant pick up everything after the 3rd rift. Thats why after the 2nd you should salvage at least 4 unidentified items you re certain you wont need. Then everything form the 3rd will fit into your inventory. Some might think its faster to do the 3rd right away and then toss stuff away you wont need. Its not. The time you need to check the items and to toss stuff away and picking up more only to also check them is way slower than quickly salvaging after the 2nd. You d also miss out on some forgotten souls and that would add up over time. But if you re missing out on couple of bloodshards after the 3rd dont return to pick them up. Its a waste of time. Just push up your cap if you can or continue speeding.

If t16 is slightly better I think Gr would still be better to farm just because of the paragon levels... 100+ paragons over time is a good main stat bonus.

That sounds like rng to me. If you are running 100+ GR in 2 min or less you are guaranteed 12 legendaries each run. It's easily the best method for solo players.

@@georgen5882 lol, dude it's not, GRs are for gem leveling and XP, Nephalem is for gear and primals. This is the biggest mistake n00bs do, they go farming for keys in public rifts, and close the rift as soon as guardian is killed. This is such an inefficient way to farm keys. And sure you'll get a primal now and then in GR, but this season I got over 100 primals in nephalem and just a fraction of that in GR. Once I did 100 consecutive runs in GR and got absolutely nothing. Everybody does what tutorials tell them and then they wonder how they can't ever complete a primal set. Don't believe every advice you see online, most of them are just painfully misinformed. Just try it and see for yourself.

Put 3 pieces of cain's set on your follower it gives you 25% chance to get 2 keys usually when getting keys it stacks up quickly.

I know about GR100 which I'm currently grinding, but in 2-3mins? I get terrible maps half the time so my usual best is just over 3mins...

Some classes are better than others for sure. Be sure to have nemesis on your follower. Maybe you can stack more mvm speed items to find elites faster? Close to 3 min is not that bad too don't worry too much about it, we are not trying to get rank 1 :)

Please make sure if you're making content to guide players that you corrrectly explain the games mechanics. GR90 is the maximum item's dropped for GRifts, however you will still have a chance at uncommon and rares, normally 3-5 rares. At GR 100 you should see no rares or uncommon drops, with 99% legendary drop rates (I used to see 1 rare every 5 to 6 runs, my pet solved that anomaly). Again, there is a benefit doing GR 100 past "XP and Gem leveling", it's a full drop set of legendaries.

Lots of videos and "splaining" about this. Maxroll has a ton of them too. But, what's the hurry? This game has turned in to how fast can you go at all times, town is lava, gogogo.... How about slow down and enjoy the game as you play? Appreciate the fantastic art work everywhere. Take your time and have fun? The meta and leaderboard guys can do their "efficiency" stuff and haul ass all the time. If that floats your boat, go for it. This will probably be the last season before Diablo 4 so I'm just takin' it easy. YMMV. Cya.

You are right, we should always take the time to enjoy the game. As we will with Diablo IV. But its the season 28. People probably did all of the things you talk about over and over again :) Now they want to be competitive in the leaderboard.

With my friend we always argue about this, with d4 beta i enjoyed to try out skills with the gear i could find and he just looks up a build. I mean i get it you want to kill monsters fast but for me the discovering and making sub optimal builds just to see what works and what doesnt is part of the fun. I know there is a basement dweller neckbeard somewhere that "ate" the game and made minmaxed builds but thats more like a latelategame for me. In the beginning of the games its the best time when the guides and meta are not so prevalent and people have to find out stuff the hard way. I understant meta if you play for example competitive dota or something. I remember it even in D2 if you didnt start the ladder with cold sorc you were just weird.

Did you know, while upgrading gems, if you have 4 levels, after you hit level up the second time, you can portal home, and still upgrade 2 levels while channeling the portal =) ;) now thats how you save time

Partly true. GR90 gives you 12 drops, but only 10 will be guaranteed legendaries with 2 either yellow/blue or potential legendaries. GR100 gives you 12 guaranteed legendary drops.
