First altar season was not comet meta(as per your description). Arcane won that season. I did a 2m 150 with arcane and only a few people beat me and they are all arcane in S28. Comet is just strictly worse than star pact outside comet is tankier due to freezes but when you have 2min clears living isnt hard. Maybe you are thinking about S29 Visions season without altar. That was comet due to no APoC and other benefits from altar cuz altar didnt come back till S30. I personally used the Occy instead of the Dagger. Literally 100% uptime on squirts can face tank everything and the extra 7 apoc is so nice when you dont use conduit on magic wep. Dagger is clearly more dps and tbh the Staff will probably take the cake at highest paragon.

Aughilds/guardians/tals ..wizardspike ethereal with grand vizier perk since I don't think it can roll smoldering. No idea what the passive is on it.

@@Smuckbuck1 tal rasha meteor,, Most people are doing what he's doing til higher gons which is guardians helm/belt aughilds bracer/shoulder then tals chest/amulet/gloves/source/pants... maxroll I don't think shows this variant.. could be wrong though, best bet would just look at the solo wiz leaderboards.
