Glad to see you continuing to make D3 videos when a new season is about to hit. A couple things I've picked up over my runs: 1. Can wait until lvl 18 to open the first bounty chest, so you have a chance to get diamonds in the same game. To clarify: ZK/Maghda at lvl 1 but DON'T open chest, do remaining A2 bounties AND OPEN BOUNTY CACHE for the DB, temple or cube until 18 (safe to lower difficulty for this now since you already got the DB from your T1 cache), go back to ZK/Maghda and open chest. 2. If Visions pop in a temple run, do it after you're finished the temple massacre so you can lower the difficulty if needed without it affecting or interrupting a giant massacre bonus.

Helps a bit if you do the snapshot trick - port around the different bounty waypoints at level 1 once you find a game with the ZK bounty. It makes the mobs in quite a large area stick at level 1 so theyre easier to kill later. Mobs that are summoned, or are on a second level won't be affected so for bounties like that you can wait til you get the enchantress weapon (which you can get at lvl 11 and not lvl 13 afaik). You can also leave the boss chest unopened and come back at level 18 and open it and it'll have gems, although the loot you get might help you out so opening it after the boss dies is also a decent option. Also if you salvage the templar's shield and the scoundrel bow, you can unlock the first node of the altar before you start doing any bounties.

and if you play with a friend, you can lock the game to T6 level 1 after you get the enchantress weapon at lv 11. Let one of you start a new character and load up a T6 game, invite the other one who is lv 11, leave game and party, then join back with your lv 11 character, so both of you can split clear act 1 T6 bounties. you will then be around lv 18-20. Make new game and get diamonds from ZK on normal. You can now uprade Artisan to max and craft and use a lv 70 weapon. Speed level to 31 to get blood rush in ToF on T6, then make a new lv 1 T6 game with the previous trick, and do all bounties act 2-5. (it will be faster now than after lv 70, and gives you enough blood shards to possibly get one of you the corpse explosion gloves as well as upgrading a scythe and crafting almost all lv 70 gear pieces, making the solo gr 20 super fast once you are lv 70, and then you have done the hardest quests for a full set, taking you straight to a much higher difficulty) finally finish the leveling to 70 on T6 in Temple of Firstborn.

I always use Bone Spear rather than Skeletal Mages when levelling Necro, it creates a corpse rapidly for the explosions to start ;)

The early Mage seem disappear too soon better bone Spear. I only use last Rune Skeletal Mage(+2sec) + Passive (add 2 sec) when it's available to replace Bone Spear as it is much stronger and cost effective.

Little trick I found was doing a challenge run then collecting it on your season guy Gives you a nice starting resources and money.

Noted: You only need to equip a Legendary armor(any level)+ a Latest dropped weapon to be able to blast T6 with Clone. The difficult part is to farm the 1st legendary. As I keep trying, only Vision of Enmity will be the fastest one, game difficulty around Hard/Expert as you don't want to level up too fast in 1st place. Or you can do Necromancer T1/T2 Bounty so that you can upgrade Blacksmith to level 12 to buy Sage Set "Legendary".

An unopened challenge rift cache is needed to unlock the 16th node of the altar. So people who want to race up the leaderboard and fully unlock their altar as quickly as possible are better off saving that cache to use on the altar so they don’t have to wait until Monday for the next challenge. I’m a casual myself, so I just run the CR, open the cache and have the easiest leveling experience ever. I probably won’t play more than a few hours over the weekend, so it’s unlikely I’ll need a CR cache for the altar node until then anyway.

you don't have to logout to lower difficulty, only to raise it. its on the "escape" screen on the right

I do it on hardcore, I snapshot the 4 act 2 bounties I try to get Magda or Kule with 4 other somewhat easy bounties. Once I got the level 50is weapon from Haedrig being level 10 I go get the cube on T1 and try spawning an enmity by the time I did one of those and got the cube I can level Haedrig to 12 and craft a lvl 70 weapon and a few armour pieces so I can take some damage. I then proceed on T6 until level 70 on temple of the firstborn then switch to expert do one rift and kill the 4 boss required and do the crafting and such to get the 2nd part of season journey done then make a DH, put on the 2 piece of shadow giving me 6000% damage from completing the 2nd part of season journey on necro and blast everything on T6.

​@@erikjohnson9112cow level is great for leveling if you have the cow sticks or materials to craft them. Not a viable option though for first characters. But their great for alts. I use cow level to level all my future characters. Takes about 2 clears to reach 70 on T6.

A lot faster than rifts or anywhere else really due to the nice open map and tons of density. Along with all the shrines. These days with the altar nobody really needs power levels we can just do it ourselves lol.

It’s so they can save the challenge rift cache for node 16 otherwise it’s locked until Monday when a new challenge rift is up. It take about an extra hour if saving it but you get more nodes unlocked until Monday. It depends how much time you plan on playing on season start weekend if playing casual it probably best to start with it since you wouldn’t unlock much more than 16 nodes until Monday anyways.

white items 6 racks at the back an keep right of leorics manor. visions drop DB under level 61 and GR keys. I will start with two t1 necros doing two act bounties to get the gold and DB for blacksmith level and convert greys to yellow. With taht nearly fully 70 yellow equip a DH and do the the other act bounties while doing every vision from t6 down. With 70 will do a LOD start as I like it that way even if shadows from gift would be faster.

As a Barb, the Leapquake set (2 pc, CDR on earthquake + leap + avalanche for each 30 fury you spend, 4 pc causes leap to create an earthquake and 150% armor after using) has to be worse than just Necro to 70, right?

The damage scales differently on console unfortunately. It is still doable but much harder. You can always run a vision with a level 60 weapon to get your DB instead of T1 bounties

@@FilthyCasual96 I did not test this. I always do the T1 bounty + getting the diamonds to get the lvl 60 wep or 70 wep right away if lucky. After this i start doing the other bounty acts. Starting form T4-T6 depending on my wep/lucky item drops and then lowering as i go if needed. If a vision spawns early i will do it anyways for more mats to help the process. More gear and you can easier make Sage set early. If a vision spawns while doing the t1 bounty act i check if its a 1 lvl. If so i do it. Otherwise skip untill you have the high lvl wep. Dont know if it is the best way. But its fast and fun. And the bounty act is just way more consistent then hoping for a vision and there is no guarentee that the vision drops your DB.

Not played much monk but I would assume Wave of light (again). But PoJ Tempest Rush gets a kick from taking the set fist weapons. And Inna for speeds, but doesn't benefit massively from the cube 4th slot

I would say yes, but a CC for the game my opinion is highly biased. I think of it like an arcade style ARPG, fast paced and mostly quite easy until you get to the very end of the game

I absolutely think so but it entirely depends on what you will enjoy. Even though I play D4 and other games I still come back to D3 specifically for the fun unique builds that it offers that I can't get the satisfaction of anywhere else. When I first started playing I struggled because I just wanted to make my own builds, and I failed spectacularly at that. Did I still have fun? Yes. However I now have the most fun only playing with other people and have learned the builds. I think just smashing through rifts with a fun group of friends or strangers is the best way to enjoy D3 after you've had your period of experiencing the game on your own pace trying your own thing. The biggest difficulty now is always trying to get started and finding other people to play with after the population peters out through the season, and learning all the builds to determine which ones you'll enjoy jamming on all day. But that's part of the fun trying them all.

I second the necro. Even if you don't particularly like it the fact it's sooo strong and easy to play it makes getting paragon and materials a lot easier for other builds you may want. Demon hunter like impale or multi shot is also good. Easy to gear and play as well. Also great for virtually all content.

Its 100x better than launch and is absolutely a better game than Diablo 3. That being said, I think I might hop into season 33 this go around. It is always fun going back for nostalgia purposes!

I have played Diablo 2 and 3 for thousands of hours throughout my life, and I have really tried liking Diablo 4, played the new season for aroud 100 hours, done everything in the game. I don't know what it is, but I can't enjoy it as much as I wish I did. Maybe its something about the paragons or item system I dislike, but D3 still feels like a more complete game to me. For me, nothing beats a new D3 season, but I think the reason I like it so much is because of nostalgia and that I feel confident in what I'm doing. It's a simpler game, where as D4 feels more complicated than it needs to be.
